hollaa everyone I am 10 weeks in to my first grow, well first grow done with legitimate nutrients soil and lights haha. This is what I am working with:

SOIL GROW

Strains - Afghani (1), Chem Dog (2), Sour Diesel (2), Bubblegum (2)
# of Plants - 7
Grow Type - Soil
Grow Stage - Flowering
Bucket Size - Afghani (4g), all the rest (3)
Lights - 1000 W HPS
Nutrients - Foxfarm grow big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom
Medium - Foxfarm Ocean Forest
PH - 6.5
Room Temperature - 73-83
Solution Temperature -65 to 69
Room Square Footage - 3'Wx5'Lx8'H
Pests - Thrips in weeks 3-4 in veg but took care of them with Dr Doom bug bomb

So everything going very smoothly at this point only real concern is only 32" left of space to 1000w HID and i know you really shouldnt go closer than 24" i think i should be ok but anyone have any idea how much taller you think these babies will get in the last 7(ish) weeks?! got my fingers crossed!

0h and other big concern actually is the my temperature at "night" (actually during the day here due to heat problems) is not dropping from my "day" temp bc it is so hot outside. My temperature during my night cycle actually increases from my day cycle! right now day cycle being kept between 72-79 with thermostat and 78-83 during my night cycle while it is daylight outside. Any suggestions or input?!?

to continue my trend of questions to anyone who might be able to help.. as you can see my cat lives in and around the garden and it seems almost half my little flowers have a hair or two on them. I would hate to have buds cloaked in cat hair, and i know a sealed environment such a tent would solve this but at the moment I am a little short on cash. any suggestions?! please?!! maybe a vacuum cleaner extension.. haha idk

i here you on the signings mate, lol, as for the cats, their isnt much you can do, once them buds get trichs on them you will struggle to get any of the hairs off, at this stage you may be able to gently vac them off but using a small brush so you dont suck the plant up the vac but when the plants sticky you wont move them hairs, its hard enough getting the sticky stuff off your hands after harvesting so the chance of removing cat hairs is going to be very slim indeed, you could use tweezers and spend hours removing them, but it would take weeks to do that, isnt their anyway you can block the grow area off from the cat, its not a problem in veg but in flower the buds and leaves get that sticky that you wont be able to get the hairs off, plus the cat will love the smell and taste of the buds and before long the cat will be stoned, trust me the cat will eat them buds when they start stinking, the cat will want to rub up against the plants, its like cat nip to them, they love them plants, eat young plants then eat the buds, my dogs the same, if i leave the grow room door open to much and he can get in he munches a few leave, he has also eaten clones and i had a quater of bud on my laptop just quick drying then when i woke up it had gone, damn dog had ate the bud then slept all night,

so do your best to keep the cat away, you just wont get the hairs off, them buds are going to be so sticky and tasty for your cat, trust me you will really struggle to remove the hairs when the plants gets covered in trichomes.

im not sure how much space you need to block off to stop the cat getting in, could you not use a stair gate or something and tie cardboard to it to stop the cat getting in their, or even get some sort of netting or chicken wore and just make a shelter so the cat cant get to them

and found a way to scrape together to scoop a new gorilla grow tent really excited to find a tent that expands to 8' tall!! should help with my kitty hair problem! check them out (especially video on website Gorilla Grow Tent ) lemme know if you think i made a good choice! went with 5x5 so should expand width of my space almost double!! really excited! hense my nonstop exclamation points hahaha. just so you know they are a new company so their website wont be completely and fully functional until next week
