Iti's Winter Frost With Mars Hydro

Done some adjustments to the fan... dropped it so it's under the light and blows across the canopy.... exhaust bag seems to be doing fine... I put my fan on low to help maximize the c02. The larger watering (from 5 gals to 7 gals) got me moved a day ahead on the schedule, I won't be feeding till Monday night I'd say.... but they could soak up a lot of water tonight. Few pics

Also got a few leaves dropping from the bottom... she getting hungry and feeding off a few bottom leaves. This would be a good thing now? Or should I add a bit more N this feed? 5 weeks of flowering just about done .... I expect to go to 10 weeks

Nice, if you can carry those temps into flower you'll be rockin.
Shouldn't be a problem.... That's with my fan down almost on the lowest setting on the dial. Now my humidity is a bit low 40+ %

Now I know why people top/lst/train... controlled canopy = maximize light height = more g/watt

LST and training, yes.. topping not so much. The larger the plant the more yield. Topping will decrease yields. You can top in VEG sure... still get a smaller plant, well unless you wanna grow it for 6 months...meh. Careful what you wish for!!

Shields are up and flack jacket on. And now dont care what anybody says! hahahahaha

Your flowers look great... not sure why you wanna change your grow technique so quickly since you're hitting it on all cylinders this round??

You should go into the grow store and leave your wallet at home, with advice taken with grain of salt.... thank me later.

If you buy cuts be sure and have an IPM regime going. Best way to get pests/infestations (besides bringing other growers into your grow space) is buying cuts from other growers.

Try some LST on those tall girls you have going... just bend her over a little and tie her to the pole. She's going to like it! Go easy... when I get taller plants I stake them all 4 corners so when the time comes and it looks like you are there now, I can LST without a lot of fuss since stakes are in place already. Also can use the tent poles to tie the top colas back. The plants will respond by filling in the spaces under the lamp.

Yea dropping a few leaves now won't hurt a thing

Completely normal ... I usually see it starting about 1/2 way thru the flower cycle, so if its a 50 day plant, start loosing large fans at 25 days or there abouts.

I have a strain I'm growing now she starts to go completely yellow (not the flowers) 1/2 way thru and looses all the fans by chop time. Only worry when your flowers are not getting fatter.

If you give your plants N in flower, all that does is promote leaf growth. I prefer flowers to leaves so I don't give my plants N, its in the soil already at the beginning of the flower cycle.

Now your next visit to the hydro store they are going to try and sell you some bat/bird guano.... something high in P... must resist.

Breaking top off at 2nd node you will be fine, will take her a few days to figure out what to do but it's not a big problem when she's so young. Older the plant the longer it takes for the plant to recover = less yields in the long run.

Hey Bob. Lol I've notice that a topped plant doesn't equal more yield, I only done it because I've got 2 smaller girls that were behind a week or 2 and I want to keep as much of an even canopy as I can this next run and I've got lots of veg time till my flower tent finishes. And I'll be keeping things the same, just new strain in Feb
