Not necessarily. It's an inherited trait in every single strain. Some are just more latent than others. I've grown bunk plants that "only produced nanners and seeds" for one grower but flourished under my command.

If you grow it out you can collect the pollen. Create your own strain, pollinate a couple buds when you need seeds etc.

I think the thinking goes above it was just a straight male.

Then is there a a hermie gene? I think generally its a “more prone” to hermie if stressed. Some of the modern sativa hybrids seem prone to it (personal experience - half formed pollen sacs on Bruce Banner, light stress)

Been following along pretty closely and I *think that was the consenus!
