Thanks to all of you for your help. I have learned so much from this forum and the great community. It is tremendous resource.
Next question: pull or cut? First grow I pulled. Bud turned out nice but some soil ended up in the bud. 2nd I cut but the bud it wasn't as nice in terms of color/smell. How do you guys do it?
One thing I may suggest if you don't have a loup. If you have a pair of binoculars or a old rifle scope laying around you can look through the backwards and make them into a microscope. Always check the trichs on the bud, not the sugar leaves as they do ripen sooner. Great plant, congratulations!
So, I hung the branches to dry individually for about 10 days. We have had high humidity so it took a little longer than usual. Trimmed well and packed in Mason jars. Been opening the jars for about 20-30 mins a day for a couple of weeks. Although not seeing any mold, thought maybe I should take them out for a bit and repack as they still feel rather spongy. Good idea?
yep, you want them to have that crispy feel... then back to the jars. Here in the summer we also deal with high humidity...sometimes its in and out of the jars and back in paper bags several times till it settles down. Good luck! Keep on it!
