I do mine in an Instant Pot which, in my view, is one of the absolute simplest ways to make it. There's a couple links in my recipe post to both the infusion post from Bluter, as well as the Instant Pot thread if you've got one of those.
Basically I calculate how many gummies I'm making to figure out the strength I want in my infusions.
For example, 1 gram of a 15% thc strain, extracted into 1T coconut oil at an 85% efficiency is
1,000 × 0.15 × 0.85 = 127.5 mg per tablespoon of oil which is part of the liquid component of the mix.
I'd probably actually work it the other way by figuring out what I wanted for the strength of each gummie and multiply that by the number I'm making and then figure out how much bud I have to infuse into my choice of carrier (vegetable glycerin in my case for gummies).
Or, and what I'll do if I don't need a special small batch, is make a larger one at maximum strength, and then take smaller chunks of that to make different recipies. Maximum strength to me is 2 grams per tablespoon of oil, or 4 grams per ounce of carrier oil/vg, and then for my recipe I'll dilute that into the liquid portion.
