Invi's Second Attempt - Some Classic Strains

Alex your buds look like dense nuggets! As it should be :)

Maybe this should be crossed with a yielder pheno. These are the most enormous resin glands i've seen so far in person.

And i also kinda like her in her weirdness. Maybe thats the most important thing...

Now you are thinkin bro! I don't have room for males, but if I did I would make a cross with every run. I've been lucky so far and have had two successful crosses.......out of six phenos on one cross I got one good pheno, and on another female cross I got ONE seed.......and that is the yeti. I'm gonna post good bud pics after the cure this run.
 
Was thinking earlier about forcing a single branch to herm by separating the light source for it and set to random timer. Would save lot of space. Not sure if it could work, or would only cause the whole plant to herm.

Yeah kinda :) Humans go mad too even just for wrong spectra (guys just checked at nasa for the mars trip). Guess random day/night is even worse...
But those chemicals that cause them to herm are dangerous. You can throw out all the buds that got in contact with those. Not sure if the poison gets inside the plant too like with foliar feeding.

Think ill give it a try next grow :)
A paper/plastic box, timer and a low wattage cfl should be the only extra cost/work.
And some kind of light trap that lets the vents through. Gotta think about that more :)

Made more trichpics. Northern Lights Blue doesnt want to look better, but what would i expect in one day :)
Tomorrow i'll still pick a bud or two. No ambers still, mainly white pistils.

Start to really think she will go from cloudy to dark brown. I won't see any change until its too late then?



Orange Bud is getting close - a smaller accident is due this weekend :)







She has real ambers luckily! Lot of white pistils too.

Ever since i moved OB and NL they can't seem to get back on terms with gravity. Stems are bending heavily, lot of buds touch eachother. I couldn't put them back the way they were. Huhh i hope i wont get bud rot or something.
Can this happen in a single day or two? Humidity is around 35-60, jumping daily.

Could cross with a cheese... Lemmon cheese :) not heard that one before lol cheese about a 8 weeker or at least the blue cheese was I grew. Indica dominant super resiny luck

It was a fabulous smoke. And I think I pulled every plant at least a full week early. I was itching for home grown lol.

Haha hi5 invi.... Tripped fell landed on the spinning trimmer that was running for extra air flow lol

I can see em invi, I have a plant right where that one is....steady...let's see if it puts out a bunch of new pistils....they will stop growing too when they're ready. I know people that never looked at a trich in their life....growers.....old school. There are a few determining factors, my first instructions were "has the plant stopped growing?, are all the pistils drawn back into the bud?", that was how bro told me to plan harvest. But, with some of the strains I work with I know what they do, and I judge ripeness by that knowledge a lot!

I think i know what you mean, and i have a feeling now about how a ripe bud looks. I think NL on the last shots was still growing steady. It just changes to the drawn back state on the pics i post now. Thanks!

Ill cut half OB today the rest tomorrow or the day after.

Northern Lights Blue started to ripen. Definitely don't mind she was growing a bit more.







Orange Bud's hairs went 50% brown in a day.. Guess thats a sign too :)







My little widow... flushed her a bit, and will do next - that nute burn is scary on her (no feeding for a week now). Maybe salt built up in the pot's bottom?
