InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

ITo be fair, this is my third run using this line and this is the first time I've been getting serious issues. I think I just underfed them and mistook it for something else, just exacerbated the situation altogether.

impressed. like honest. that's a real good run on that type of nute. i don't think i could do it. you are short on n and you'd have to balance the rest against it and likely supplement if you added n

Yeah, it's been taking a week for them to feel light enough to water. I'll see if I can get away with a day or two early.

if you go for it, obviously a bit of n, and a mild pk boost is where i would head. introducing heavier nutes is dicey when stuff is so pale though. would try help that first. do you use any cal-mag product ?

I'm really considering giving coco a try for the next round.

you might like that or hempy as the feedback from the plant is pretty quick. proper nutes becomes even more central though.

Monday update all! Let's get some plant pics in here, shall we? Leading off with the flowering two, on flip day 36...

Jack Herer from @Weed Seeds Express:

And Sour G:

They're moving a bit slowly in terms of development, which is probably down to the chilly weather even with the heater in the shed.

Next up is the Doug's Varin yesterday (also from WSE), day 35:

I think it's working on node 8 now, so I'll probably top it next weekend. I just fed it at 4.5g/gallon eq. which is my full veg nutes. This is where I usually leave them until flip.

And it's got some nice root development for 12 days post transplant:

Speaking of root development, I've got some roots in one of the Sour G clone cups after 15 days (in ProMix with Dip'n Grow):

Not bad for a serious monster-crop cutting (you can see the blurry pistils in this pic):

Now I wait for them to reveg so I can send them back into flower and spray them with STS again!

Speaking of revegging a Sour G, this is the one that was supposed to get the pollen from the failed STS attempt, and it's been at 24/0 since I pulled it out of flower about 2 weeks ago:

Still pushing out pistils though it's slowed down considerably. And if you're wondering about the gaping hole in the middle, it blew off the table on Friday and the main and one other branch broke off:

Doesn't matter though since it's going to get devoted to the next STS experiment.

That's it from me. I hope your weekend went well and the week plays right into your hopes. Stay safe out there! :peace:

Hey, Shed.

That Jack Herer is a brute and Doug is saying "well just watch me!"

Not bad for a serious monster-crop cutting
What does that mean? Do I want a monster-crop cutting? :Rasta:

Looking great Shed!
Though now I'm jealous. I just got back from cleaning snow, do you need a plant sitter? :laughtwo:
I'm jealous too @InTheShed. Jack Herer is either first or second place on my all time favorite strains depending on the quality of the Super Silver Haze it's next to. Does the strain take on that lovely, familiar JH smell while it's still in that state, or not till it's dried and cured? I bet it's DANK.

Also, if we could please trade grass, it would make my life a lot easier and run the batteries on my chair down a lot less. I mean your actual grass. Not this kind of grass. Although I betcha I'd make out in that trade too.

Thanks Rex, and sorry about the snow. I got out of that in 1988. :)

Plant sitters always welcome though. Come sit in the backyard by the plants!
Hey, Shed.

What does that mean? Do I want a monster-crop cutting?
Thanks GDB! Monster-crop clones are ones taken after flip, and they're called that because they tend to put out a large number of side branches compared to clones taken during veg. My October 2018 POTM AK-47 was a monster-crop!

Back when I had actual grass-ish.

I don't know because I haven't smelled one before. It definitely smells good though!

I have a lot more spare grass than I do spare grass! A few short pieces of turf are stored behind the shed in case I ever need to repair a spot. And you should look into replacing the areas you roll over most...maybe there's discounts or state disability money to cover some of the cost?

I doubt anyone needs to save water down there though!

Thanks, that's a good idea I never considered that. Btw - that plant above? Whoa. Training perfection.

Thanks. Now I have about 6 more questions, but I'll do the research. ;)

Leading off with a home run! Your Jack Herer is an absolute beauty and that stock is a brute.
How many days in veg was she?

! was looking at those pictures and wondering exactly that. :high-five:

Everything is looking Happy in Shedsville:meditate:

Nice! Yours look much greener then mine for 30 days lol.

That's because mine are on synthetic nutes custom blended to a specific NPK Ca/Mg/S formula! You're doing it the hard way. :)
It’s only the hard way when things go wrong lol. If they’re not greener in the morning they’re getting liquid nutes. I’m pitching these pots anyway. We’ll be limping home with this one.

Ain't that the truth!

If this soil is destined for the outside garden then feed the plants what they crave and rework the soil formula for next time. Each grow is the proving ground for the next one!
