InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

I get that. But you could up-pot it into a cauldron.
I had an old one behind the garage but my wife couldn't get it clean. Last time she tried I heard her yelling "Out damned spot!"
Ha! Ya know it shed! That's what I use! AAA. Westward! Too much. I find the cover glossy, and not too thick. Haha! I do try to find dark colors so the pollen shows up better. Smile and stay stoneder
Which issue? We only have the most recent one since we toss the old ones as they get replaced. Not that anyone reads them anyway! I hope one of the covers has some dark on it. :)

But you knew what I meant? I may make up a word now and then. Sorry Azi, I lost track of all the different people making this the fantastic place it is!:hmmmm:
Hey SO,

:laughtwo: Just messing with ya. We did know what you meant. Actually I'm disappointed that it's not a real word. You should submit it for consideration. I'd vote for it (probably won't get called to register my opinion though :()

Also, I may adopt it if I can find a way to work it into conversation. :thumb:

Haha,I had to look what your native language was before I knew you were giving my nads a tug!

Hi Mr S! I hope to have some time to peruse deeply again someday, but I don't expect it soon so I'm just here to say thank you for sharing 1299 pages of your awesome shed! CHeers! :yahoo:

you were giving my nads a tug!
And how does one do that??
That's a subject for a different website.

Thanks for stopping by Pbass! No need to deeply peruse here, just pop in and say hi whenever you're in the neighborhood. If something catches your eye, ask. Hope all is well with you and your Vulx. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I missed the impregnating too. :) Never saw pollen and all of a sudden...seeds!
That’s how mine were too! Although I wasn’t trying for seeds so... ;)

Nonetheless, I’m very proud of you.

Took me a second...

Happy July 4th update everyone!

I'll be off doing July 4th things today but I wanted to drop yesterday's activities here. It was time to split the clones and prune the Candida mother, so here goes...

Let's start with the clone splitting. I put multiple cuts in one cup to maximize my chances of getting successful clones in limited space. Once I see good root growth, I pull them out, shake off the soil, and replant them on their own.

Here is what they look like shaken free of the soil:

All the tops looked green and healthy:

But that didn't mean there were roots!

These cuttings were taken on May 16th and have been living in the sun for two weeks, and yet you would never know this was rootless. I had a few of these in various cups, and I tossed them.

Here is the before/after:

One clone of each plant is in straight Kellogg's Patio Plus potting soil (with @DYNOMYCO) and the rest are in 75/25 with perlite (and @DYNOMYCO) . For science!

They all got 4.5g/gallon equivalent.

It was also time to thin and root-prune the Candida mother, which needed watering every day in its 1 gallon pot. For those who haven't seen it before, this is how I root prune...

Rootball:

I use a box saw to cut off the bottom third:

As well as squaring the sides, leaving me with a cube to replant (in 75/25):

Here is what I took off:

And I also did a serious trim on the plant itself. Here is the before/after:

I've got the clones and the mother inside today to give them a chance to get used to the change without having to deal with the sun.

I hope this helps someone!

Have a great Sunday and a safe and sane 4th of July celebration, if that's your thing.
:peace:

Pulling out the clones and shaking off the soil that way gives you a good chance to see how strong the roots are. There's quite a difference across the group. Allows you to select the strongest one or two for potting up.

The scientific application of Darwinism. I like it!
