InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Good job Shed!!!!
That looks delish.
Was watching something a few years ago about the sourdough lacto-yeast cultures in some San Francisco bakeries are said to be 160 years old.

Excellent work on the sourdough! You climbed that learning curve very quickly. :thumb:

Nice cup of Marijuana Tea and or Marijuana cup of Warm milk...

Okay, so the weekend update was all about bread (if you missed the sourdough update, it's here), but I did transplant two of the five winter plants, so let's take a look at that.

First I scoped all of them again and got nothing more definitive than we had on Friday. Either way, I said I would upcan two and two I did.

Fruit Punch was up first, on day 48:

And then there's Maude the low-stress-trained Golden Tiger 2, on day 51:

Because of the training, I planted it off center, but left room at the edge for roots to grow. It's hard to tell in the pic though. I re-tied everything and got a nice flat canopy:

You may notice that many of the roots on the plants are brown, with white on the bottom and one side. That's from the black pots in the sun. I scored them before I put them in the fresh ProMix HP so they should happy-up soon.

The other three are looking unhappy to still be in the 1 gallon pots. Drooping leaves, yellowing...typical root-bound stuff. I'm hoping by next Friday we will have a better idea of who stays and who goes.

And last, Saturday morning baseball had a very nice view, and home runs landed in the ocean. You put up with a lot of shit here in L.A. but you also get to watch a game on February 1st in 82º weather with a breeze off the water.

I hope you all had a great weekend and that you were rooting for KC like I was!
:peace:

Nice work on all fronts Shed!

when the lid came off it looked like this:
Gorgeous! And even more so after it’s time baking with the lid off!
Excellent work and following of recipes ;)
nd thank you for starter-ing me down this path :cheesygrinsmiley:.
Lol! Am wondering now what you’ll do with the starter now if you won’t be baking bread regularly, will you keep it alive?

nice transplants :thumb: Some of those white roots down low are fairly thick, more like water roots. Are they sitting in wetness too often maybe?
Glad you said that thing about the brown roots at edges. I’ve seen that too. Is it the heat do you think? Wondering if wrapping the pots to shade them from the direct sun would stop that from happening.

Lol! Had no idea I was invited.
Would have loved it I'm sure.
You're invited any year you can show up! :high-five:
We had Sun the past days here as well
:yahoo:
Transplants look very healthy btw
Two of the happy ones :cheesygrinsmiley:.
We actually have sun here for a change.
:yahoo: I'm all for everyone getting sun. I am not a sun hog.
will you keep it alive?
I will probably be baking this weekend, so I'll be refreshing it starting Thursday night. After this weekend I'll probably leave it in the fridge for a while. It should be okay there.
Are they sitting in wetness too often maybe?
I don't think they stay wet too long as they need water every 2-3 days now. I think it's just the plant finding the coolest place and sending the roots there.
Is it the heat do you think? Wondering if wrapping the pots to shade them from the direct sun would stop that from happening.
I probably should do that. Maybe I'll make something out of white cloth and velcro.
Oh ok - you tagged that with “sad” so maybe it’s my iPad...
I never have luck on my phone with editing or even trying to multi quote. I always blamed Firefox but maybe it's the site!
I'm having problem when using the site with Tor on my phone but not with Tor on my laptop.
As long as you're anonymous to the Swedish Security Forces, it's all good!
