InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

I thought this posted last night... :sorry:
What is that tin foil looking product in the flowering lady's room?
Thanks Bode! That's bubble wrap foil insulation I buy in rolls at home depot. It's 4' wide and I just stand it on its end.
Hey,Shed-Did you feel that earthquake ?-just a little shakin here, but lasted a looong time
Hope it didn't hit you too hard...you may be a little closer than I am..
Hope all is well....
I’m here to check in on the Shed family. Let us know you’re ok!
My guess is he stumbled and dropped the AK which created that quake they felt. He really needs to be more careful moving those things around.
I hope all really is ok Shed. Not sure how close you are to the ‘hot zone’. Thinking of you in any case! :circle-of-love:
All is well here, thanks all for your concern! I was watering the plants when it hit (way north east of here) and didn't feel a thing.

Puppy is well, doesn't seem to mind all the fireworks around, and I actually have to work tomorrow, so update in the morning :).

Happy Friday all! I appreciate all your concern regarding the earthquake. I'm pretty sure this is what was going on when it happened, so probably why I didn't feel it. Screen grab of a video:

It's not easy to water when your containers keep disappearing!

We had the local parade in the morning (my son took first puppy-sitting shift) and then a barbecue party (hamburgers this time :woohoo: ) and I took the first shift for that, so I got to do the de-larf on the Berry Bomb. Very sticky already, and loads to remove #nolarf. Here's what came off:

Lots of long branches and lots of lower fluff as well. Here is a shot of the undercarriage afterward:

Much cleaner. We'll see at harvest if I took enough. The AK-47 is next for the trim, later today.

I checked the cuttings this morning, and here is what I have so far. DTF with roots:

IIP with roots:

And the Sour G had an interloper:

Not sure these will survive after being defoliated by this now deceased little pest, but we'll see. Still time to take more cuttings before the mother goes into flower.

That's it for me! Short day at work so I'll catch you all later. :ciao:

Don't you mean that caterpillar has a Sour G on it! Lol. One bite then TIMBER!!!!
Damn good thing I got it before it went full "agent orange" in there. We'll see how it goes.
Evening mr.Shed hope ya don't mind me side stepping 30 odd pages otherwise I'd be lost forever....haha
I see you got some new babies going I should hope to keep track of them this time round if I don't dawdle...
Nah Smeegol, you're just following instructions and jumping in any time! Keep track or don't...I'm easy :).
:laughtwo: beautiful
Nice de-larfing too
Thanks Amy! I'm on a de-larfing tear now!
Defoliation is no larfing matter.

Thanks Dutch! Got out of work only an hour late, so not too bad.
Damn kids...always getting in the way
Lol
Srsly. She wants to eat the pot handles and lick the outsides! Makes it hard to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time .

Hope you didn't feel that one either and everyone else is OK, too.

Well as long as I'm here, how about a Friday update that most of you will think of as a Saturday update :).

As I mentioned earlier, I thinned the AK-47 today, which leaves only the Bedroom Cookies 2.2 left for tomorrow. Let's take a look at the AK de-larf...

Undercarriage before:

Undercarriage after:

Some of the longer stems I took off:

All the larf:

You may notice that I took a lot more of the AK than I did off the Berry Bomb. That's because I know exactly how the AK flowers at this point (I think this is my fourth) and I know how much to take without lowering the yield. I trimmed pretty far up the branches I left on, but I don't recommend this for anyone growing a plant for the first time.

Tomorrow is up-can day for the clones and BC 2.2 thinning day, along with pineapple planting day. The water they've been sitting in is breeding mosquitoes!

I hope you have a great weekend ahead...

:peace:

Wow intheshed, this thread is loaded with interesting info. Mind if I park and read along for awhile? Complete new grower here. You seem to know what you are about. Well done.
Thanks oops, and :welcome: to my perpetual journal of whatever happens to be going on! Park and stay or double park and then circle the block...whatever works best for you :). Follow along and ask any questions about anything that comes to mind. We have a great group of folks here who can give you great answers or point you to the best place to find what you're looking for.

What and how are you growing, and have you started a grow journal yet? Here is a link if you need instructions on how to set one up:

and here is a link to a list of helpful thread that the mods have assembled for new members:

When you set up a journal, post a link here so folks can find it!

[edit: oh wait...found it!]

Enjoy the scenery and sub some other journals of folks who strike your fancy. I look forward to seeing you around!

Thanks, intheShed, the last few weeks, my head has been swimming. I have my first ever basic, very basic grow going and finally got a journal going, sort of.... It is very picture shy, because I did not know I was going to find a site like this, and very few pics were taken anyway... thank you for the links and keep up the great work!
