Shit man, so I have to agree with the root rot. But if that's the case, its gonna a tough save, so be prepared. That's what worried me about this soil technique, the AK is looking rad so could be genes.
On that note. I think AK is good to be out of the box. Shes looking awesome.
Be careful adding peroxide to soil it will kill your microbes. Treat the roots and use fresh soil if you can.

Thanks! Will do. Going with a 1:16 solution for a quick wash and then into new soil with 1:32 water. I can always add microbes if it survives!

Late night clone update:
No roots at all on Gold Leaf, but I cut it shorter and replanted it in less dense soil. I give it a 10% shot. Texted the clone man to see if he had another one or if I could take another cutting but no reply.

You should just throw that GL in a glass of water until you get some root action, imo.

Your gold leaf is doing what my bag seed clone did just keep in there she looks like she might make it and I would just keep the humidity of the box in the 80%-85% range and both should keep on keeping on.

If you plan on taking clones again in the future I would get some SLF-100 to help with root development. Just water the soil prior to sticking and weekly after that.

Thursday morning and it's raining!
Tossed the dead AK-47 clone bc it looked like this:
And I put Gold Leaf in a cup of water per BWaff's 3 am baby-feeding post. Here they both sit this morning.
If I can get a consensus as to whether to put this back in the soil or leave it in the water, that would be great! Discuss...

Thanks, that's easy enough! And it's still 99% RH in there as the AK clone seems to need it still as well.
Until their roots are established the only way they can get water is through their leaves.

Friday morning and it's day 18 in cloneville.
I have been trying to get another Gold Leaf clone but the guy seems very reticent for some reason. And I haven't given up on this one yet.
Here is the box:

When I spray the Gold Leaf I've been trying to keep the AK dry so the small leaves don't stay saturated.

That AK sure does look like a real plant! I'm still bugging the guy for the Gold Leaf bc I'd like to grow a high CBD strain.
