The oval plants look excellent! And I'm sure the ones in the cube of darkness will sort out in due time.

I better go congratulate the other ...oty winners. Hope you have a nice celebratory olive oil lined up for tonight

Soaking Saturday update!

Though the sun came out for about an hour today:

Most of the day it was pouring outside and yes, dripping in my son's room . Oh well...back to the drawing board on that problem.

Because of the rain, I mixed up my nutes in the kitchen. All three flipped plants needed water, one of them was desperate.

Sour G before:

Sour G after:

That's better! I wanted to get the PPMs up higher as well as transition them into flower nutes, so I was kind of winging it as I went. Here is about what I ended up with in gallon each:
½ tsp Pro-tekt
6ml cal-mag+
½ tsp Grow Big
appx 1.625 tsp Tiger Bloom
3 tbs Big Bloom

Nutes PPM was around 900. I had to shift everything around in the shed and crawl on the floor to water them because I couldn't take them outside, which meant I needed to use a towel to mop the runoff off the plywood floor. I was smart enough to hang the driver back up so it wouldn't get wet :).

Then it was time to give a light watering to the Candidas as they were dry on top and soaking on the bottom. Because of the transplant, the top and middle is still where the roots are so I gave them about 1/3 gallon each and the AK clone got the rest.

And what did I water with? The stinky weirdly textured MegaCrop sample. You're supposed to start with 4 grams/gallon (which is about ½ teaspoon) but there are white lumps in the mix of brown powder so how many lumps end up in your measurement will vary from feeding to feeding. Anyway, that's what I went with, and nothing else. No cal-mag, no pro-tekt. We'll see! They're still in the office with the CFLs until the tent arrives on Tuesday. You'll see that transition when it happens :).

Before I go, remember the cuttings I put in ProMix with domes on Jan 21st? Four of five cups have visible roots:

And those stems sat in cups of plain tap water for between as long as two weeks before I planted them. Did I mention I'm fond of Dip'n Grow? I'm under the impression that it's my secret ingredient.

I hope your Saturday was filled with sunshine and rainbows. Sorry @newty, I did not see any unicorns.

:peace:

I was using 1 teaspoon/gallon for mag deficiency. I hope that's over with now, and I just use it to hold the Oval of Brightness® closed at the bottom :).

I'm never heard of that Trademark... I have however heard of a Glory Hole! I'll just assume that's not what you're talking about.

...we went with a tin roof(forest green)...only slightly more expensive than premium shingles, and offers longevity and durability... was yours shingled or tiled?...cheerz...h00k......
Shingles. Asphalt shingles (one or two layers...not sure) over wood shake. No tar paper, no plywood, rusted metal flashing in the valley. It's a hot mess up there!

Here it is, the Oval of Brightness® (last month):
full

The ones in the oval are going to live in the oval at night in the shed (and get supplemental light from the strips in the early morning). The ones in the house at night are the two Candidas, the AK clone, and the Breakfast Cookies clone. Once the tent arrives they'll be under the Mars 300 at night, and once the new Mars arrives, they'll be under that at night. If the sun comes out that is . Otherwise they're in there all the time!

Wow, you got a whole new set up! What kind is the new Mars that’s coming? I ordered a bigger light today (not a sponsor though, shhh).
