Speaking of that spreadsheet I have a question. How would I go about calculating Kief? It’s a mix and match of multiple strains and then I have 2grams of straight SLH kief that I got when making a batch of concentrates.

I’m assuming there’s no real way to determine the THC%?

Without testing there is no way to know, but kief would be much more concentrated than bud, and the spreadsheet was created for grams of bud, so I'm not sure what numbers you would put in that box.

Unless you're dosing for medical reasons though, it really doesn't matter. Start with a small amount of whatever you're making and don't end up like Joe yesterday!

Most folks here seem to be getting the sativas, but I won't really know for a while. I've given up trying to predict phenos when they're this young!
 
Like my Blue Treacle Auto. All wide-leafed in veg and long skinny ones in flower! Who knows how it will smoke. First one is curing now.

Thanks. I'll have to check it out when I get to my desktop that has Excel. I'm interested in the formulas. I may need to tweak mine based on some new data I found re: the efficiency of the type of oil used in the extraction process. The original source I used made some general assumptions on which was best. I found some real Lab Results on how much THC each type is able to capture.

@InTheShed I found it several weeks ago while browsing the interwebs. When I saw your post re: the spreadsheet I started scouring my history to find it again. This time I bookmarked it and put it in my Herb folder. If I had known you just posted it I could have saved myself an hour or so of hunting. Oh well, it's a slow night at work.
 
@InTheShed My phone was able to open it but can't see into the formulas. On face value they look similar and they both account for production efficiency which some other calculators I've seen do not. I just need to update my legends for the newly acquired efficiency data. His is more focused on oils and does include calculations for both THC and CBD while mine just does THC. Something to consider adding. As mine stands, it's more edibles focused than ml of oil. I have a co-worker with severe Chrones Disease that's headed for disability in a couple weeks. She's approached me re: making some oil for her to try since there has been some pretty exciting anecdotal reports with it. His calculator is exactly what I need for that project. I've got some bud that's supposed to be around 9% THC and 9% CBD (at least by breeder specs) that I can use.
 
How's it going guys? Prob not too many on here today I guess. I'm enjoying a day and a half off (for now). Sitting in the growroom in veg mode again and about to traverse the electronic ether. I'll prob be here all day back and forth.

Good for you helping out a coworker! I would peruse a few of SweetSue's thread and search for chrones and see what others have tried. I'm sure it's been discussed in the oil thread and probably others as well. You could search the whole site for chrones and pick out the comments in the research threads.

Oldbear's calculator really works for me, even for edibles because when I make them I try to make them like medical dosing.

I'm glad it's going to work for you, and one of the benefits is that if you need to change the ratio for your coworker you can add a bit of THC only bud and hit a different ratio than single strain oil.

I have been using 85% efficiency for the MB and 80% if I do it in the oven in a jar. I didn't delve into the numbers in that link so I hope I'm close!

Of you save the mash for brownies I think your closer to 98 ;). Sorry I've been absent more of late my friend, but you seem to be going full steam and sharing the good news of cannabis yet! (Sorry if I grammatically butchered that last one).
Anywho! Hope your holiday season has been awesome and your plants are doing well. I'll have to back track some to look but my guess is you may need to find some more clone boys?!

Thanks for stopping by Them! Sure you've missed a lot here but it means you haven't missed the stuff going on IRL :). Yeah Joe somehow missed the "start slow" directions on edibles...I thinks he's recovered finally.

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful (and possibly growing) family. Enjoy tomorrow and the look in your daughter's eyes when she sees the tree and presents in the morning. It goes by so quickly.

I'm well-vegged now and about to get even veggeder. Just in the growroom communing the ethereal void with my fellow organisms.

Hollywood... cool. I wouldn't be able to handle it myself but around here you don't hear someone say "I'm going to dinner in Hollwood". Despite being wimps WRT temperatures, you guys got lots of cool stuff going on out that way. Around here it's a big thing when the farmers spread shit on the fields. Me nerves.
 
My wife's cousins and their daughter are in from England so we're going to see the new Mary Poppins movie and then dinner nearby. Not my favorite place to hang out but you go all sorts of places with relatives in town!
