GF nutes look easier than MC, but my gut tells me the signs for feeding may sneak up on you.

Well...if the stuff works then the GF plant should look the same as the other two on 4.5g/gallon. These are clones after all.

I am eagerly awaiting to see how the 90ppm works on the Candida, especially after finding that article recently that suggested 100ppm was the sweet spot for cannabis

I'll do that tomorrow, and this is the way I figure to do it:
I take my remaining 180ppm mix from the fridge and split it into three equal amounts of 100ml (not sure how much is left).

One gets diluted with 50ml distilled water. That's 120ppm (180*0.66).

One gets diluted with 100ml distilled water. That's 90ppm (180*0.5).

One gets diluted with 150ml distilled water. That's 72ppm (180*0.4).

Are my numbers accurate?

Also, I wonder if @DutchinAB might have gotten the same response from his various dilutions because he was spraying them all on the same plant.

I can say from my attempt I don’t believe the same response to the different concentrations was due to spraying the same plant. There was no noticeable affect to the control branch left to flower female; no stretch or similarity in bud development to the sprayed limbs at all. Which leads me to believe the GA3 is limited to where it makes direct contact.

DAB was mixing with 500ml as I originally suggested giving him 120-180ppm. Yours will be the one I am watching closely, the 90ppm spray

Correct in the concentrations I tried were 120, 140, 160, and 180ppm. I think these were too concentrated, and will be trying lower concentrations, one even diluted in 1L of distilled water; simply for the sake of trying!

That sounds delicious! Question - is the oil making process (in a jar in the oven) the same when using coconut oil vice EVOO? I’m getting ready to try a coconut batch and don’t want to burn anything!

Just stay at a low temp should be fine Boo. Coconut oil in my opinion is way better than olive oil for edibles as far as effect to get high. Medium chain triglycerides are my main thang.

Try letting it cool too a solid then reheating too liquid a few times to get the most out of your oils.

Reheating seems to help in potency . I like using Grape Seed Oil, You can even use it as a topical because it rubs into the skin and doesn't leave an oily mess, it soaks in.

I haven't tried coconut oil yet. I need to make some. Do you use Liquid at room temp or solid at room temp ? I always use butter for cooking with. I take A LOT of oil caps 6 to 8 every evening along with some Brownie or cookies

If you like butter you will love coconut oil. I heat it to an oil for cookie/brownies/caramels to mix. But will put the solid(its really hard) into my coffee on occasion.

you can do coconut oil and butter at 50/50. works fantastic for a lot of recipes, and adds a little extra texture and flavour.

i make a lot of extractions with an instant pot. simpler, easier, and less expensive than an mb2.

Never had to refrigerate coconut oil. Its bulletproof . Turns to an oil in the summer in my cabinet then back to solid during the winter.

Someone actually brought me a butter flavored coconut oil haven't cooked with it yet though but find any recipe that uses butter(sweet stuff) is just fine and more shelf stable with coconut oil.

I Love my MBM2. The only thing I dont like is having a 2 cup minimum so I have to use 2 ounces at a time. That was rough when I was having to buy it but now that I have a small stash its not as big a deal as it once was. So should I try the liquid or the solid coconut oil ???

I use a big crockpot on low for 16 cups a run. Always organic solid virgin coconut oil.
