InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Hey shed! Hope all is well. Just popping in to say hi!!

Well Homer, I don’t know anything about lights, but I do know that’s a beautiful photo. If it were me, I’d be entering that puppy in the phOTM contest!

Agreed 420% :bravo:

This is for you Homer ;)

Thanks for the post oldsmokey. That woman is the apple of my eye, I love her more than donuts... and almost as much as Duff Beer. D'oh!

To make it easy, many advise providing about 40 true wall watts per square foot of actual growing area (not necessarily tent/room size), at the canopy.
:hippy:
And to that I say, why the hell would I buy four 40 watt lights to cover my 2x2 tent.

That’s classic nute burn, she’s just a light feeder.

Thanks Penny! I'd prefer to go easy on the nutes than try to find and fix the deficiency, so that's a relief. Everything I looked up about nute burn looked far more severe so that's another reason I ruled it out.

That’s pretty classic, those narrow leaves make me believe she’ll be a light feeder when it comes to nitrogen. Don’t back off much just a little

The burn showed up soon after I switched to flowering nutes, so maybe that has something to do with it? I tried to make the transition gradual but she doesn't seem to be a fan. I'll back off a touch, thanks again. :thumb:

We don't need to argue, but take, for example, two 100w light bulbs, one 3000k and one 6000k. At the SAME distance, they would have two different intensities. :Namaste:
Makes sense to me, and my guess is the 6K one is going to produce a lot more par at a given distance and wattage than the 3K. And at the same wattage and distance a 20K light will produce even more par.

There is probably a fancy named law regarding this, I dunno. But I know in my applications I have observed this.

Do I get a pot brownie or anything?
