InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Nice update,Shed!
The spring 3 are looking great..good structural engineering on the restraints-but I think you're going to need some fatter sticks pretty soon!
Thanks carcass! I'm hoping to get them sexed soon and into 7 gallon pots, and eliminate the need for sticks at all :).
Sorry you haven't been able to see him.
It's been a bit since I've seen my folks too.
It's good to hear that he is doing well.
He got a new roommate yesterday, so I hope this one doesn't hit him as well! Apparently the new guy likes music too, so maybe that will help.
Hi all! Who knew you could get that much from a cup grow. Awesome! Hope everyone and their loved ones are doing well. Did a drive by on my dad a couple weeks ago. My wife's going through extreme grandchild withdrawals. We usually have 3 or 4 over on the weekends. Stay safe and stay stoned!
Are you video chatting with them? That might help a bit. The place my dad lives does have iPads for chatting with relatives, but it wouldn't help with my dad and his dementia.
I can’t believe that top got burned!! crazy.
Sorry to hear about missing your dad. :( Although with you having been sick, I’m a little bit glad you didn’t visit. Chin up Shed, sending you
:love::hugs::love:
Thanks double H! I ditched the Mars for now and just put the CFLs back up. It's really just to keep them vegging.

I hope he will still sing with me when I'm allowed back in. That would be great!

let's take a look at the LST on the AF's.
With the AFs leaning so far off the pot, do you have trouble keeping the pot from tipping over? I guess once you up-pot to 7 gallon, there will be more weight to keep the pot anchored. :hmmmm:
I've got to bake cookies for my dad, who I haven't seen in 6 weeks
Are you video chatting with them? That might help a bit.
Seems like "forever" since wife and I saw our mothers, but at least we call them regularly. My mother doesn't have video chat capability, but my kids do so we've done that a few times - really does help with the distancing/isolation thing. As a side note, on Thursday night I hosted a (virtual) poker party with my fishing buddies. We setup a Zoom video meeting and I aimed the camera at the poker table. I dealt all the "face up" cards and everyone else had their own deck and dealt their own "face-down" cards. I controlled all the chip stacks and betting at their command. It really worked out well and was a lot of fun!

FYI - Zoom is not a secure app folks... just sayin’ - use it knowing that anything anywhere can be joined or listened to by just about anyone at anytime.

A comedian here, Hamish Blake, has apparently been randomly crashing peoples’ zoom hookups to illustrate this fact for folks... it’s been a pretty funny series of interventions. :laughtwo: (Edit: it seems that he was secretly invited to at least some so the story may have some crossed wires... but still, Zoom has a bad ‘back end’ when it comes to privacy)

Garden looking good Shed! Those brown spots on that lower leaf you showed look like evidence of fungus gnat larvae in the soil. Gnats are always around so not a huge deal until they grow in numbers but you might want to treat the soil just to knock em off, in case they’re building up at all ;)

Saw on the news yesterday they are demonstrating against the lock down in Cali, thought it must be Shed rallying up people for it.

The plant doesn't weigh that much, so they're not unbalanced yet. My clone mothers, on the other hand, tip over in the slightest breeze when they dry out. I still haven't gotten the hang of going full @ProfessorFlora on them :cheesygrinsmiley:.
It really worked out well and was a lot of fun!
Sounds like a blast! I don't have any friends of my own in Los Angeles, so I'm really happy to have my family here at home.

Thanks for the heads-up Amy! There are ways to make Zoom more secure. If anyone wants to put some security on their Zoom chats, they should read these tips from the failing NY Times:
Zoom has a bad ‘back end’ when it comes to privacy
Zoom was never designed to be used the way it has since the lockdowns, so they really hadn't planned for it. "Originally a service meant for businesses, Zoom was designed to make it easy for company employees, sales representatives and clients to hop on meetings. When consumers flocked to the video platform for school and socializing, however, those conveniences also made it easy to hijack videoconferences and harass participants in online attacks known as Zoombombing."

I'll keep an eye on them and see if it spreads. I haven't seen anything flying around the soil but if I do I'll hit them with an H2O2 bath (if there's any available at the drug store!).

Hi @InTheShed. Happy 420 to you.
I've been following your advice on other grows. I don't think I'm going to go through the 1000+ pages of your journal just now. I might just go back a few dozen pages and join in from here.
Cheers
Howdy McRib and :welcome: to my incredibly long perpetual journal! Thanks for having the courage to jump in, and please don't even go back a few dozen pages :). Here is a picture of everything I have growing at the moment, so just take a look and ask any questions you may have about anything that comes to mind. Then you can just follow from here.

Nice to have you along.

I know, just pulling your leg. Our fake news over here told it was Trump supporters doing this, I wounder why he always likes to speak about Sweden when there is a crisis...

Well enough of that, happy 420 Shed and keep your family fed with weed! I'm starting to get low on sativa over here so I better get going as well.

Stay safe! :hippy:
