Increasing yield with defoliation indoors: What's it mean? How to do it?

Hey Hey. This is a very interesting approach for defoliation for me and am going to give it a go. I only found the thread yesterday, perfect timing though! For years now I just continually take leaves off, but I’m assuming they are always slightly stressed. I’ve never got near 10-12oz before. I haven’t touched them for about 11 days and they look mental, super healthy and on day 15 of flower. A little out of control compared to usual.

I just wanna check my cuts are correct. I think I know but wanna check. Feel free to adjust images.

Cheers.

I've been out of this for a long time. But starting it in veg produces way more shoots which produce flowers. Your cut locations are fine. I got closer to the v though.

Hope this produces good meds for you.

Thanks bud. (46 & my first forum joined : / )

It was going to be a scrog as per normal but accidentally found your post and I like the concept. I did a test last year on 4 and just abused them badly to see what their response was, not to good. 7oz in a square meter. So one hit at 21/22 days makes more sense.

I’ll do veg strip on the next round.

There are lots of flowering heads but they’re underneath all the crap. I’m counting down to day 21!

Hopefully it will pay off, live and learn.

Yeah man, been ill since I was 12, shite really but my ladies help to keep me going, just.

A few pics of some oldies…

Cheers.

Thanks. Glad it helped you. I was only growing meds for my mother's dementia. She passed in 2015. I'm now retired in the Philippines. I will say I did enjoy learning about cannabis and it's medicinal qualities that for years I was skeptical about. Now I highly suggest it for those that have a need to treat. **As for the recreational aspect? I could care less. I look at it as mostly harmless. Just don't bake and drive. heh.

It helps people with dementia. Brings on calmness. Good choice. We use it for nerve/muscle pain. 70 willl be my next birthday so there's that. Plenty of aches and pains that a few tokes take care of. I think rec use is fun too.

I'm glad to have met you, I've mentioned your method many times to others here as a method to slow a grow down if needed. You did a fine job of detailed explanation! That's why I used it and it worked a charm! Be well Bassman!
