In recovery and growth is slow

I really don’t have a lot of experience with deficiencies or pests tbh....let’s see if a shout out @bobrown14 will get him in here

You def got something going on....I wanna say bugs just because it actually looks like they’re being eaten....I’ve also been told white spots in leaves are an indication of spider mites, however don’t jump to that conclusion yet lol

Thank you dude. I've asked an admin to move the thread into soil cultivation help section. I'm not sure if faq is the place to be since everyone seems to be locked to individual things like hydro or soil or dwc etc.

Also I did jump to the conclusion of spider mights or fungus. So i got bayer bug free spray and bayer fungus killer. Then sprayed the fuck outta them. But the problem became worse. I chopped the brown off and the wasted growth and left the green. Flushed it and kept reading Google. I then though might be root rot and realized I had just flushed. Not the brightest of move.

Then I became curious about my ph and got a soil meter and that read 7.6ph so up I went to drop the ph with a 4.5ph solution of water with about 20 litres between 2 10l pots. When the run off came out at 6.2 I was happy and put them back is tent. It took about a week to dry soil completely and then a further week before any new growth. One died and the other showed signs of fresh green.

3 weeks after that p.h correcting this is we're I stand.

Small slow growth. Minor development.

The Browning is spreading deeper within the leaves day by day.

And also I don't think bugs because the chewing is limited to that leaf only. I think it's something else. And that silveringhas something to do with it.

I've looked at all the deficiancies and as many photos of each and yet I can't spot any two look a like symptoms with my plant.

It's like a cross between 10 different symptoms

Anyway i thank you again guys. Any photos needed or info just ask.

When you spray them do it just before lights out....not sure what's in those sprays themselves but I've seen that spraying and leaving lights on can have damaging effects.

If you have neem cake you could also consider a neem tea spray, it's a lot weaker than neem oil :Namaste:

Your issues pertaining to the older plant are a little advanced for me.o_O
Some things like CalMag are helpful, as are beneficial microbes to balance nute uptake.
The yellow seems like it needs more N, but the crispy leaves are perplexing.

I see alot of suggestions on bugs, neem oil stands out.
As does beneficial nematodes, which are cheap and easy to administer.
Topping with a layer of perlite helps with soil being impacted over time, and bugs.

While I have brought many autos from seed to my pipe, I hesitate to offer further advice.
I know of a certain @Pennywise that is very knowledgeable.
Ask their advice, using pictures.;)

It almost looks like Broad or Russet mites. Need to hit them with neem or alcohol mixed 4:1 with water.

Are you talking Bout the new younger plant?
I'd sooner go with alcohol as I have heard neem oil effects taste and smell. I did by the Bayer bug free soap spray, I don't know if it can harm a plant.

Also I read about spider mite predators and ladybugs. I've not begged very far yet so I was 6 and two 3s about getting them.

Thankyou phobos. You have been most useful.

I am using nutes I'll post a picture of them in a second. I started with vitalink plant start which is high in nitrogen and good for rooting. I have since moved on to my vegging nute.. mother pukka mother earth a+b liquid concentrate for soil.

My soil is canna terra pro. I ordered of eBay, it came bagged, I potted my rooted root riot cubes and newly germinated seedlings and went from there. I went from root riot cubes straight into 10l pot and thing we're what I thought fine. But I know now the growth was always slow. So I know the base problem was my ph.

I'm sure I locked out many different things. I just need to unlock them and provide what is needed . I will also get some cal mag. Although I thought they'd be enough in the soil. Thanks again to you guys for replying
