Well shoot looks like they are going through an iron deficiency.. darn ph must be too high... should i add ph down with ANs ph perfect nutes? The ph shouldnt be over 8 though.. but maybe its not jiving with the soil or whatever. Ill have to keep a close eye on it..
Anyways the training goes as followed... once they reach their fourth node top them if they are big enough. Once those two branches grow a bit and the plant grows, lst the plant and tie her down. So the stalk is at maybe a 45 degree angle to the dirt. Doing that opens the middle of the plant up to the light allowing the inner growth to catch up big time, giving me that even canopy.
See how much she is bent over? You will only want to do that when she is young and flexible.. . so after you have your way with her, a few days later those two top branches should be the tallest. Mine are at the top and bottom in this pic.. next i will show you how they get there and stay there.
What you wanna do is start to tie them down like you did to the stalk, except to the sides of the pot so it all fills in in the middle.
Just wrap the string around the branch and pull down.. you can tighten or loosen or move it as she grows. Then ill tie down the other two bigger branches on the other sides of the plant if needed or any others around the sides that grow too tall.
I also supercrop or hst the top branches over if they are growing too much as well and the side branches get a weekly bend down until flower time. Imo lying the stalk down like that and letting the branches grow out allows for a much more stable plant then if you were to grow it normally. Otherwise you get one strong main cola and a bunch of floppy buds around the sides. Imagine a big erect penis surrounded by little flaccid penises.. wonderful imagery i know lol. .
