@toasted, check out how high my light had to be. This pic shows my soon to be harvest of the plants I shared prior with you. But it covered my entire room. Just keep working at it every day until you find your sweet spot and you'll avoid any irreversible damage. You won't be disappointed.

*I'm always happy to read about when guys encourage their wives to participate in growing. I always think, how are you going to get your wife interested if you don't share knowledge with her? Then she will totally loosen the reins. I promise. That's what I would do if I had those challenges, but my only problem with my husband is that he keeps pushing me to go bigger, badder, I'm trying to stay modest. It's a great problem to have.

We read about it a fair amount and watch other Grow videos together. We spend a fair amount of time after the kids are asleep in the Grow together talking about plants and plans for the future. Knowledge is power.

Ok well i have to be honest and say yes i do have the light too low.. it needs to be 30" away or more right now and i have it at 25". But i know my plants and they were thirsty. Check em out now.. just as I thought they bounced right back in several hours. I may have already found my sweet spot. Thank you for your help g2hm, the lower leaves are either yellowing from either lack of light or nutrients.

I think you're right, i use tap water and its ppm is pretty high so i adjust my nutes down just a little. When i hand watered in coco i always run an air stone too add a little oxygen to the water. Not sure if it helps but it cant hurt. .

It definitely helps my tap comes out at 300 ppm after bubbling for 2 days down to 75-100 ppm

It doesnt change my ppms at all when i bubble my tap water.. must be good water then i assume. I started out with the first month or two of my first grow just giving straight tap water and they were doing very well, having no issues.

Today is day 62 of veg.. cant wait to start my next plants under the viparspectra 300w instead of my veg box lights. I was gonna do the autos i have but now im not sure lol. I kinda wanna grow those under the dwarf star the whole time. We will see.

The ladies are doing great. They are absolutely loving the new light.. responding very well to it. Im going to flip them next weekend i think.. gives me time for two more veg feedings. They have been showing me their lady parts and whispering daddy please in my ear for about a week now. Also if i let them go to much longer they will get too close to the dwarf star and burn up lol.

I love the vks shape and size.. beautiful plant.

The ib is longer and has been having issues with her undercarriage. She is still beautiful as well.

Thanks guys! The smaller branches are still a bit week so hopefully they get stronger the next week and a half. Did some lst/hst to give the plants a little light before bedtime. I do it to the tallest branches that want to stretch the most.. little bastards lol. The ib is mostly the culprit now.

Love the symmetry, your sweet spot has been found. Now you get to see the value of your dollar out perform any other light. ..

Definitely have been loving how the plants look in the ps spectrum.. i peeked at them at least 20 times the other day lol. So pretty. The heat is good.. its been running not as warm as the other lights. I had said it was running a degree hotter but it was 90 degrees out so i assume thats why. When its 80 out it runs 77-79 and when its 90 out it runs 79-81.. hits 82 if i keep the tent open too long and the heat fills up the closet. Very happy with how cool the light runs.. i had asked him about that and he said it would run cool with it only drawing 230w from the wall.

The ib is ruining the symmetry a bit but maybe she will bush out more if i torture her lol. Cant wait to see the buds this light will grow me.. im super excited!!
