Imtoasted's Journey Of Perpetual Bliss

Yeah your killing it bud. Cant wait for a smoke report on the lemon. Always was one of my favorite smokes

Thanks pw and derby.. they are still getting along ok. Had to do the h202 drench lastnight, as there were gnat larvae in the other pots. Hoping if i add microbes back in the plants wont suffer too much.. dang gnats. Need some sticky papers! The oil treatment may have slowed them down the other week but they were still there.

Yea its tough BL i had to get a pack.. it has been a while lol. I cant wait man.. its gotta be some LOUD right?? Rh in the 30s would be ok if it wasnt so hot in there.. gets too hot and dry then the leaves get too dry and crispy.

It definitely isnt as easy you make it seem brother.. ill get there though. I appreciate that my friend.. true the plants dont need to look good in the end as long as the produce is great. And its real great lol.

Cant wait to get this new run going.. so excited for the line up...

Immgrowing 4 of them atf this winter so excited

Yea life sucks sometimes.. at least i still have a full jar and people to help me get through it. Damn weather here really is shit for growing weed. Too dry in winter too wet in the summer.. throws curve balls at newer growers like me that dont really understand everything yet.

Funny i wanted to dry in the tent thinking it would help with airflow and keeping the smell out of my house.. just too wet in there and not enough airflow i guess. Better to have a open tent with fan blowing inside the bottom vents and a little fan blowing air around inside the tent.. worked before. Cardboard will be my next step, naturalspirit had suggested that as well.. thanks fellas.

Could you do a low and slow method??? That would keep it from molding I would think. Not everyone has the ability to use that space though.

I lost one of my fattest tops to mold too toasty. :rip: Has happened to most I think at some point if your in a humid region.

I do cardboard boxes as well. And let the breeze flow. Buds dried too quickly will be fine. Especially dank ones. Or that's my theory at least.

It is a small speedbump in your long and prosperous growing career dude

That sucks.............. ? Did you wash the buds? I hear alot of peoples claim washing it with some stuff will kill it??? I woodn'd chance it myself. If it's only on one top bud?? That could be different... That almost looks like mildew not PM but a .. Ambient R/H has alot to do. If that's high outside,, twice as high hanging in a tent. I like those drying nets myself. But when the R/H is low outside, I use a brown paper bag to slow the process.

I tried the H2O2 also.. Didn't do shit that I could see. I know I bought some old wet dirt stock of dirt the last of last winter.
I think it was infected. But a fan on blast and afew sprays seemed to help alot. I got the sticky paper in there now. But in the past for minor gnat problems,, Go Gnats worked great as a drench. GL

Those three pics of the mold were the three biggest colas on the plant.. the smaller buds dont have visable mold. But i checked them with my magnifier.... i can see what looks like those cystolithic hairs growing out of the heads of trichromes... which are the strands of mold.. so to be honest, if one bud has it it all is gonna have it. Whether you see it or not with your naked eye.. its there. Just like the mold spores are every where they just need the right environment to grow.

I applaud you old growers cause you poor bastards have been through it all. I wouldnt be able to do the low and slow as i would need to buy an extra good sized fridge.. kingjoe had his buds ruined when he tried it so i never had much excuse to try it.

I thought the 4" inline exhaust with a passive intake with a little fan blowing against the wall would be enough but not when humidity is too high. RH gets like 100% at night in the summer so having it be 55-60 in the tent isnt so bad lol. Not good for drying buds.. needs to be around 50%... or i need to have a fan directly on the buds next time.. too dry weed is better then moldy weed like dabber said. Thanks guys!:thumb:

True..... Great to know WTF they look like......

Get a Dehumdifirier... Best investment I ever made...........................

One in the house close to the tent. It don't have to be in the tent,,, just the same room works.............

Hey there Toast srry to see the mold bro... we've all been there. It's just part of the game same as the gnats. You need more air flow. That helps with mold and the gnats.

If you have a silica product, foiler on early veg thru to 30 days in flower with your IPM. I use Horse Tail Fern tea and spray it on make it myself. Works. I slacked this run and a plant that I had running for 100+ days had on spot of mold. Cut that top right off the cola. She's replaced it already was only like 3 days ago.

I'm with ya.. 100F and 90RH tomorrow here. I'm chopping.. not waiting for that shit to start. The thing I learned is not to get greedy and try and wait till the plants have big huge fatty colas. Watch the weather. Tomorrow am, some buds in the hand worth more than 2 moldy bushes. Gotta do what we gotta do.

You have some killer genetics you just got. Suggest running anything from IHG that has any cookies in it. Lots of room between flowers so no mold. Just get some air going. I have like 4 large fans and 4 smaller fans running 24/7.

Bugs... they get sucked into the intake. Gnats are from that soil you're using. Check with your local horticultural shop, see if they have any Coast of Main compost. Mix it with some potting soil or make your own mix. Can even ask them if they have their own mix. Lots of em do. Lots of better options than your current bagged soil. I've tried that stuff.. same thing as you, gnat bastards.

You still have some good weed there. Pick thru it. It's not all moldy. Check with a loop. Don't smoke it, if moldy. You know what it looks like.

Chin up bro... lessons learned. Wind and silica FTW.
