Damn Those colours toast! Really mindblowing :) the sticking and slicing part looks so Damn hard to do to the girls :O does This really works?
 
Yes ns it does.. dont really have a way to prove it. From what ive read it only makes sense they would push out as much goodness as they can into those buds before they die. The whole point of their lives, if they are female, is to make those buds and push pistils to catch pollen to make seeds. The oils and trichromes the buds produce is the plants way of protecting themselves. Once the plant thinks shes dying it will increase production of those oils and trichs to protect her only way of moving on her offspring to the next generation. Survival of the fittest.. nature working at its finest!

That is Some very interesting thinking material. The reason it was a doubt for me is that plants can Also have the behavior of pulling Everything to the roots for example when winter comes... interesting How plants work! Could my theory have Some truth to?

I just ice bathed a plant for two days before harvest. Nothing but ice. So I guess we will see.

Now Thats Some great experimenting! I am still at the "fill Those jars" stage. That beeing Said I really like experimenting :p on my first grow now going on i Did lst,top,fim, CS, 2 auto and 2 fem oh and Some cloning . Lets say I like to learn the fast way and multitask myself true it hehehehe

Me too. First grow ten plants. Lots of filled jars. Tried every technique I thought would work. Some did some not so much. Learned a ton. Now at the end of the second Grow. Ran out of jars half way through ten plants added 8 autos a couple mothers and some clones. Now I know the yield is good. All our patients will get more than enough. It's time to see if we can leak that sweet nectar out. Did two week flush on 2 plants at the end one I stem split the other I ice bathed for two days. The split def worked I filmed and posted it. The trichs that leaked on to the leaves was killer in one day. Will do for longer next time. Ice bath we are about to find out if it turned the buds colour. Def looked like they were blueing after 24 hrs.

Damn you are def in a next level stuff there! I am already Subbed, just caught Up with like 100 other awesome journals I dont always respond a lot, but I try to multitask as much as I can ^^

Now really need to get Some sleep... (04:22 am now)

Read a study from Unni of Miss on terpenes and terpenoids. In the study they noted that plants that were in the dark for 72 hours lost about 10% more terpenes they gained substantially in resin they noted as compared to 48 hour dark plants. Just some food for thought.

So you harvest right after the 48 hr dark period?? Ive read about stabbing/stressing the plant at harvest but have read conflicting things about this too. So I wasent sure. Makes sense. The ice bath? Is that watering with Ice cold water or letting the plant sit in a tub of it like a bath? So let it dry out, Turn off the lights, stab it, 24 hrs in water it with ice old water and harvest in another 24hrs?
