Thanks shorti! Yes the dwarf star kicks some serious butts.. worth the money to say the least. Check out in house genetics, anything by them will be as good as these two im sure.
Well im gonna try this out and see if that lower growth catches up.. they look so goofy lol. Dont tell them i said that.. .

Well i learned this method from dabby duck.. his plants grow really nice and even tops. I think the only thing he does is ponytail his plants early on.. could be wrong, i am forgetful.
He did it towards the end of lights on for three hours everyday until those lowers catch up to the main top. Last night was their first sesh and i just left em on for two hours so they can get used to it. This is the first time trying it.. wanted to do it last grow but i waited to long to start and these ladies are the perfect size.
Tonight ill go for three hours.. wish i would have taken before and after pics. I was surprised when i looked under their fans this morning, that lower stuff definitely responded to their ponytails. Pretty neat!

Your ladies are looking great as always! You'll be impressed with the ponytailing. I've only done it a couple times but was very happy with the results.
Im trying something similar, but i clipped the upper fans for better light penetration. Its definitely working.

The little ones look great Toast, I'm sure the ponytailing will work well for you - also what would you say the smallest space the Dwarf Star can run in without burning plants up is? Or would I be better off with the PS Mini? I'd really like to go cob but I know PS is a great company that makes great lights as well.

Yea i cant wait to see what one week of this will do for them.. thanks dd im glad to hear you had success with it. I like your way of doing it age.. id say your way works the same if not better. Since they are getting more light the whole day and not just for several hours.
Thanks shorti, i had it in my 4x2x5 and it didnt burn the plants at all but you would be better off having a 6' ceiling other wise you have to grow smaller plants. They can't get closer then 18" from the light or they are toast lol. Ill yield more from this grow just cause my plants have that extra foot of space in the 3x3x6.. its worth it.
The cob youd need 7' surely.. that sucker has gotta be super intense. I remember neil saying something in a video with the cob that in the middle part of the light the plants liked to be 3' away lol.
Ps mini is baller too but if you have enough space the dwarf star will be your best bet. I could probably flower four medium sized plants under her in a 4x4 and get the 11 oz it says the light can yield for ya. My goal for my auto sog grow is 8 oz.. not sure if the autos will have the yield but with nine plants i should get at least 8 oz.

So i did the backbuilding earlier.. this time i left two of the biggest colas on each plant untouched to see the difference in the end. Took some lower crappy buds off too. Cant get over their scents.. the blueberry lemon candy smell is getting to me. Ill try to stay strong guys!
The control group.. tbh i didnt have it in me to cut the tops off these two, they are too pretty.

Pray tell what is the component parts of the growing medium? What is white bits? They look too big to be Perlit The soil is a compost I guess Please tell me what it is maybe John Innis number 1? I love the purity of the plant no visible infestations the leaves are nice and green. Is this a result of strict temperature control?

Be careful of running something under the Dwarf Star if you can't keep it at the 18-20 inch distance. If you let it get closer than about 16 inches, your plants will start suffering. I find 18" to be the sweetest spot with my strains. I hear you can get much closer with the Mini

The white bits are perlite.. in my flower tent im using a mix of fox farms ocean forest and happy frog with perlite. The veg tent is just kind soil on the bottom and roots organics on top.. both soils have perlite in them. What the heck is John innis number 1? A fungus? Thanks ss it could be the result of that.. i have no idea lol.

Wow did i.. my ex messaged me today, her mom was using MY weed I grew to help relieve pain in her back from a torn muscle. And guess what?! The drs prescribed her hydrocodone this weekend and it did nothing for the pain but my weed does everything to help.
She needed more today and holy fuck do i feel so happy right now. I cant stop tearing up. Damn guys i can sell pills for the rest of my life and help people but that... thats just something else i cant even describe.. makes me wanna work even harder!!!!

Didnt expect to be this happy on a Monday.. was in a good mood all day too then she told me that. What a kickass start to my thanksgiving week.. really feel like im giving and helping!! Ahh it makes me feel so happy!
