That is crazy. But if it works. Y not. First thing I’m going with is Trap them and flood them. Then send in the great white shark to eat the bad guy Lol. And clean the leaves daily with ferment I believe it’s feeding the leaves also.
 
Not sure how plants like sea salt. In soil or water it kills them (speaking of killing!).
 
I have and Van has for a while now. He posted his recipe as 1:9 70% iso:water. I mix 18 ounces of water and 2 ounces of 70% iso in a spray bottle and spray my Blue Treacle 1 (in flower) every morning.

Then why use Epsom salts for magnesium
 
They're completely different chemicals:
Epsom salt is hydrated magnesium sulfate, a chemical identity that the other salts do not share. Table salt, kosher salt and sea salt are all at least 97.5 percent sodium chloride.
 
Aren’t nutrients salts. Heavy salts. I’m not saying salt water. I’m using ferment salt and kale water. It’s basically nutrients water for people. But this is a whole different level of information.
 
I'm confused Ice. You said you were using sea salt. Sea salt is sodium chloride and is used to make farmland inert. That's what I meant when I said I didn't know if the salt you were using as a rub on the leaves was a good idea.

I'm just asking here! I would strongly advise against anyone using it down by the roots, but I was worried about NaCl absorption into the leaves. I'd stick with neem in veg, spinosad in flower, and iso/water mix in either. And sticky traps. And mosquito dunks. They're supposed to work on fungus gnat larva.
 
I understand want your saying mr shed I fill 55 gall drums with calcium chloride we load big tires with them. When I was in Iowa training they said it would wipe out fields for years. My salt is different it’s a high mineral salt and it’s fermented. With kale. Check out the link just add salt Just Add Salt
