Yes, cutting the light cycle back will signal to the plant the end is near and helps it ripen the trichromes faster. IMHO

so my light should be on for 9 hrs off for 15 hrs ? is that what you mean?

Yes, for the final week in bloom. Flush during this week too, and the last day before harvest have the light off for 24hrs (cut the plant while the light is off). Good luck!
