I just got done taking my third HF test from Psychemedics - had to take one several years ago to get my job, then when they hired me in permanently, I had to take a second. I quit, then re-applied, and now I have to rinse and repeat. The second test I took, I was downing something like 40-60mg of adderall per day and hardly prepared at all for it. I doused my hair in vinegar, made some baking soda paste and rubbed it all together into a hissing froth, let it sit for about ten minutes, rinsed and then did it one more time for good measure. Passed it, I assume.
The first time, I went all out - I had salicylic acid and baking soda paste at one point, which was a hot mess, so much of that crap that it felt like I had a sunburn all over my head and face for a week, I did several rounds of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda paste, I even diluted a bit of bleach, did a round with some vinegar (repeat x10), and finished it off by using up almost half a jug of laundry detergent. Passed it, I assume.
The third - just today - I went the second-test route and only put my poor scalp through a light treatment, with some salicylic acid thrown in for good measure. I swear to god, I hate HF testing. It's like it doesn't matter your past experience with it, you turn into gooey mess of nerves until you finally hear the verdict. Psychemedics is the enemy of all things good and right in this world. They're the anti-kittens. I don't know how they sleep at night.
