I have to use imidacloprid: Thrips

Hi 420 , I have thrips on my plants and they are bout 3 and half month before harvest and they are outdoor in Colorado latitude , I have thrips , I catch some aphid flyers , and lower leaves have spots due to bugs , fungus gnates , etc ...

I sprayed with insecticidal soap which contains 30 percent vegetal soap and 70 percent mint oil , nothing happened ,

I top dressed top soil with perlite , nothing happened

I decide use Imidacloprid [bayer] Or thiamethoxam [syngenta] which they are similar , only on leaves , I have plan to seal my fabric pots with big plastic bags and seal them to main branch , and spray leaves , I know it will kill every pest I have .

Do you think I will be ok 3 and half month before harvest (they are in veg and did not show pre flowers even) and avoid from dripping it to my soil as it will have high half life in soil ,

pests left me no choice really , outdoor

I found research about how residue of this insecticide on plant and it says it will have to detectable amount after 20 days and my pre harvest interval is about 100 days ,
