Hope you had a great Christmas...here's a little present...another
HYENA'S GROW HOUSE update!
I made a final pre-chop visit to the grow hacienda this morning...everything in Tent #1 is as stinky and sticky as it is possible to be!
I'm glad I decided to give this the extra 2 weeks, right now I don't see anything amiss, just fat colas everywhere...
This new strain has many forms. Many different colors and smells. It's a fantastic pleasure to be trying to decide which ONE of these will become the actual new strain out of 12 possible candidates. I have sampled almost all of them now and it isn't getting any easier...everything I have smoked has been fantastic, though there have been great differences between plants in terms of flavor and aroma. But the buzz is strong with them all so I really can't lose!
So here's a Christmas treat if you like bud porn (and I know you do!)! Enjoy this parade of perfect petals!
THAT is why I do this. To witness up close the incredible beauty of cannabis in all her glory.
So in nine days on January 3rd I will hit this like a tornado. Until then it will continue to swell and get even stickier...might be a record harvest.
Meanwhile, in Tent #2, the same grow (only younger) is almost ready to flip...
Still SO compact, I have given up on this spreading out much more, I almost flipped it today but what the heck, another week won't hurt anything since they aren't really going vertical very fast.
And in the clone closet the third "generation" is chomping at the bit to get in the race!
As I expected, incredible roots popping from every clone!
I kind of hate to leave them unplanted for another ten or twelve days, those root masses will become massive I suspect. But until I rip out Tent #1 there's no place for them to go. Like big, awkward birds who need to leave their nest but still remain, tightly packed to say the least. All this growing green life is amazing! I never get tired of it.
So tomorrow Wifey and I will be jetting down for a couple rounds of golf in Florida, then back to see my beloved Buckeyes try to get past Clemson on New Years Day. Then my birthday is on the 2nd. Let's keep the party going! I'll be stringing the celebrations out as long as I can because on the 3rd I will sit down to somehow tackle the most massive harvest I have ever faced. I'll be ready!
There's so much green in the grow house it's like a freakin' forest. I'm almost scared to be in there alone in case I run into someone...
He seems friendly enough but his friends never bring their own weed. Have a Happy New Year and get ready for 2021 to be the best year ever!
Peace, Hyena
