Not if you water correctly. I always use a plant watering pitcher so it comes out like rain water not out of gallon jugs that dump gulps out and move soil around.

Thanks for your input im thinking of going with advanced nutrients depending on the availability I hate ordering things online and I dont think my local hydro shop has any but everywhere has canna heard mixed things about this though? And anyone have any knowledge on whats better to have.. a good base nutrient or great supplements? In the perfect world both but for those of us on a budget?

It's like any business, people try to create new substances and with good marketing people may fall for it but in all actuality all these things are designed to imitate soil, so instead of imitating soil just buy the real thing... If other substances are proven to be better than I would be all for it, but from my understanding all these other things over the convenience of a neater room but if you just work a little harder keep your room clean and properly massage your soil mix properly with coco for better absorption and get rid of clumps results will be better... However if soil is not massaged properly mixed properly than you may be looking at nutrition lock... Plus you only get one chance at making your soil good so after transplanting you're stuck with the soil the way you first made it... So I emphasize the importance in proper mixing and properly massaging the soil to make it clump less and mixed well with coco, which is detrimental for nutrient absorption

Thats just not true. Coco alone gives way better growth than soil, as does rockwool and claypebbles. A high quality super soil is good but soil can not compete with the growth rates of hydroponic medium. There is a myth that hydroponic growing produces inferior product which is also untrue. Ot gives a much cleaner end product when done correctly.

Canna coco base nutes is what I use personally I can not compare it with anything. I can't say anything bad about it but I've had people tell me there's much better base nutes out there I use advanced nutrients in flower which I love so for my base nute I think I'll try keep it all AN once I've used up my canna. I'm thinking sensi 2 part grow and 2 part bloom or maybe grow micro bloom not sure yet .

Cult yeah I was swaying more to the 3 part rather to the 2x2 sensi also was considering conissuer 3 part but have read that's for more advanced growers that can mess about dialling in different amounts of each so that sounds abit tricky unless you just use equal amounts of each
