HSO Lost Coast Hashplant - One Plant 2 Lights One Love

Curso

I asked Doc this and he didn't know so I thought I might pick your brain

I impulsed bought 2 274w LED2.0

I want to add a red ufo but was wondering about using a 135 ufo, it is full spectrum, but about $40 or 50 cheaper than a 90 all red.

A 135 should have a good percent dedicated to the red end and I would get another 45w more total grow power than a 90 all red for less money.

basically i'm asking if adding a bit more full spectrum like a 135 is just as good as dedicated red 90.

Damn I'd love to cook with you!

I'd be happy to work with ya bro. It's always 420 in my kitchen...LOL

Im not big on sweets but that looks pretty magnificent. Congratulations!

Thanks bro. We eat with out eyes. Doing the food I have done in the past gives me a bit of a hand up on plating...I could do some classy stuff, but I really like abstract. So that's what I do...:) One day bro we'll split one with a coffee and a spliff....

GOODNESS!!! im a sweet eating cannabis smoking machine....and you have put the 2 together in what seems like the greatest combo ever!! LOLOLOL Damn nice job C!!!!!!

LOL Thanks bro!!! I love making them and well....eating them too. I can honestly get by with half of one and 3 bong rips...and that's the truffles with just butter in the ganche. My final batch has both tinc and butter :)

Hey HH :) That kinda depends on a few things. If the light you bought is full spectrum and doesn't need the added red, I personally would add another full spectrum. While that red does do a ton in flower, so does the rest of the spectrum, just not in chlorophyll production. Most "full spectrum" led's have enough red to handle that sort of business. There is a lot to be said about the production in the middle wavelengths that improve over all quality of your bud IMHO.

Okay day 34 or something like that...LOL
I can't say enough about how things are shaping up in the tent these days. Everything is perfect and happy. I gave her some transplant and the test drench today. I cleaned her up and opened her up to finish flowering the other day. She got sprayed with stress shortly after and will get some energy and sprayed with stress again on saturday. That will get things into bulk mode and we'll see something special happen.

Here she is as she sat this morning....

I agree that while the OPP was nice, this one is kicking her ass. OPP just in general isn't a really big producer. She's gsc x gdp both of which aren't known for the greatest of yield. They do however make up for it in quality and that my friends is some top quality shit.

It's is funny what the difference is between day one and day twenty two. The next OPP wont be as big, I am running more in smaller pots, just because I have them and they are all such nice plants I can't in my right mind cull any of them and I am testing that drench side-by-side with and without.

What is behind the OPP has me excited too. I've seen other people run TGA gear in HB and they have had some nice produce, Jack Skellington has me pretty excited. If I get a male I plan on breeding it with OPP and this pheno of LCHP so either way, its going to be some exciting stuff in the new year!!! All under my P450's....Can't wait to see what they do to a subcool strain.....

Damn dude, that back main is big as a baseball bat...and not one of those crummy aluminum little league bats either. I'm talking 38oz big league hammers.

how close are those mains to the light?

I'm the owner of a small tree that's looking to be planted in a neatly kept or recently cleared bush :icon_roll:surrender::sorry::lot-o-toke:

Theres a line within the different stages of growth tho. Put these powerful leds too close and smaller plants get no vertical growth! Theyre simply content with staying where they are! I had mine at 12" and was getting no vertical growth but as soon as I put them at 24" they started growing towards the light. So id say adjusting the height at different stages is pretty important and something to pay attention to :)

Not saying its a bad thing but its an observation ive made over a 2 week period. Yes im still in veg and am growing "various" types of plants. Ive elected to go 12/12 on all my plants and as everything came above ground I decided to just use the veg cycle at about 6". Well since I was going straight into flower mode I decided to use the flowering light as well and adjust the height to 12". Upon doing so all vertical growth stopped but the leaves on the various type of plants were green as can be and appeared happy and healthy. I then referred my findings to a friend who suggested to get the light to 24" and since doing so (over 1 day) my plants have grown over 1/2". Thats only after 1 day!! Take what you want from these observations but its what ive noticed. Different plant stages require different light heights to optimize growth...or I might just be an idiot :)

I have some pics but before I upload them I wanted to tell you guys and girls what I've been up to today. Today OPP went to the LAB to get tested. I took flowers and ganche to Iron Laboratories and learned some interesting things. They found a touch of mold on the outside of the bigger bud I had given them to test. Not to worry it wasn't a growing issue it was an environmental issue with me either forgetting a jar or not burping it often enough. Otherwise...It looks like it has potential. We'll see soon....The lab itself is fantastic, really cool people. If you live in MI and need shit tested...that is the place to be. I'll post the results when they become available...

The top of the cola in that last pic looks awfully white is there some slight bleaching taking place from it being so close to the LED? 5 inches is sooo close. Beautiful beast of a plant for sure!
