Be careful, this will raise PH fast. I use Pro tekt by dyna grow, great stuff, this is what I use for PH up.

Cheers

I decided to just lower the light instead of turning another one on... I mixed up a very light batch of nutes that I will give them maybe this weekend... I don't know it depends on how long it takes the soil to dry... Temps seem to stay between 64-77 humidity is like 38-62...

Be careful, FFOF is hot soil, it won't need anything for 2 to 3 weeks but PH'ED water.

Cheers

Oh yeah, I'm subbed. Your feeding schedule looks tough for a first timer. Are you PNW as well or Colorado? Strains look like great choice. I like that pink panty strain. I'll sit back and enjoy the ride.

Cheers

Yeah I'm in the PNW

I just ordered some Pro tekt yesterday. :) EJ has a really low PH but if you bubble it for 24-48 hrs it will raise it back up. But it seems to bring mine up too high. So now I worry about using the Pro tekt. I guess I could just add some grow or bloom right before to lower it back down. Or try to catch it before it gets too high. But I was under the impression as long as you are close its fine when growing organically because the microbes will balance the ph. What are yalls thoughts? I am really wanting to up my yields this time.

UPDATE:So I decided to pull the plants down a little more Carly(cookie-fi) I had to add more weight so I found a glass jar that I tied to it and I had to add another support string for the stem and I tried to straighten it out a little more... So now she is down a lot farther... the other 2 I realized that I wanted the objects hanging rather than sitting on the ground so I tied them up higher and it made the other to go down lower also Tanya(Tangie Banana Surprise) is touching her pot but her stock comes out straight then angles out its weird... oh and I took some pics so here are those.

honestly I don't really worry about ph... I probably should... but I just think that the soil will take care of it... I do have some ph strips... maybe I'll test the runoff when I water...and I don't bubble my nutes... which I might in the future but I don't as of yet... I think you should have went with the 5 gallon pots I think that would probably be the easiest way for you to increase your yield... I think that's all for now...

I use 1/2 TSP per gal when I mix my nutes. Then if ph is to low I'll add 1/4 TSP and recheck, repeat. Little goes long way.

What's your plan for Tanya. What I mean is how do you plan to shape it? Are you going to try and make the off shoots grow up and pull them down the other way or are you just going to keep it off to one side? They are looking good! Any lifting action yet?

So Tanya I have to wait for the shoots to grow up more before I can really do anything but then I will probably pull them down to them to the sides and those I'll probably just tie down... Shirley's are already growing up so I might have to do hers soon... Carly is just weird... And I had the objects to where they were touching the ground but I think Carly was pulling hers closer so I just added way more weight and now it is down a lot... The others I couldn't really tell but I made it so they hanging more than just laying on the ground...

Yea I wish I would have put them in 5 gallon pots. I went with 3 to start with because I wanted to make sure they didnt get too big. That was before I decided to scrog. Now I wish I would have got some 5. I prolly will next grow. But for now my new crop are already transplanted now into 3.
You dont HAVE to bubble EJ from what Iv read, but other than fixing the ph, it also conditions the nutes. Helps beneficials. Plus it just seems like it would be an overall good thing to oxygenate the water/nutes. But Im just a noob with a memory problem who reads alot. So idk. Its just something I do to go that extra mile for my girls. :) If they only knew how much I did for them, maybe they wouldnt act like assholes sometimes lol

Love the bend in that o gal homie. nice and laid down. did you top them. I forget? I have decided this grow to not bend the whole plant but to just pin down the arms. I think it will do better under my scrog like that. More even. Keep it up man you seem to know exactly what your doing. :goodjob:

Thanks for the info. Im hoping it will shield them a little from the heat this summer. My building gets hot in the summer and I dont really have the money for an AC. As far as PH goes. If I let bubble for 24 or more hrs Low isnt my problem. It being too high sometimes I think. I only check it every so often because Im banking on the microbes to do their job. But I do check every so often to get an idea of whats going on. My water is usually about 7. After EJ, it goes to about 4.5 or so. After bubbling for a day or more, it will shoot up to as high as 8 or so. ( Im using the liquid test) So thats why I was saying I was a little worried about it affecting the ph. Because mine seems to be high already. ALthough I am thinking of trying to regulate my ph by adding more EJ right before use, to lower the ph.

It'sNatural when ever I read your posts it just sounds something like I would say... Like I read a lot but I have memory problems so idk... But yeah I like to think I know what I'm doing even though I don't have experience I've been researching on and off for 15 years (but I forget shit all the time)... Almost every grow room I've walked into I've probably have tried to give some kind of advice even though I'd never grown before its kinda weird lol... It's always been my dream to grow and now I'm finally able to... And yeah I've read about the bubbling of nutes and I think it's definitely a good thing to do I just didn't want to spend the money on a pump and air stones yet but I probably will when I go perpetual...

Oh and no I haven't topped still haven't decided if I want to yet I'm going too see how many tops I end up with I might try and keep it down to a small number and try for huge buds rather ran more heads with smaller buds... Maybe I should do some research and see what I think would be optimal for me.... Right now each plant looks like it has 8-11 "heads" (limbs off the main stock).... But I don't know if any of those will get chopped for clones or what not... What will probably happen is whatever heads grow up faster than the rest I will either tie down or top or both to either lower them or slow it down so whatever else can catch up...

UPDATE: just fed the girls 1 tsp grow; 1/2 tsp micro; 1/2 tsp bloom; 1/4 tsp catalyst; 1/4 tsp cal-n-mag; 1/8 tsp godsilica except cut in half because I only made half a gallon... worked out pretty well... one of these days I'll actually take them out of the tent and take pics so its not all purple and stuff... I even put my grow glasses over the lense when I take pics which helps but it's purple and drives me crazy...
