I love my Mars Hydro 300 and so do my plants! Perfect for that space and if you want to upgrade in the future (I will be) you can just buy another one and have double the watts and better canopy coverage! You really can't go wrong.

Just got done reading through your thread. I have a lot of experience growing Auto's. I tried topping them before and it didn't turn out well. Just my experience. The life cycle is so short, it struggles to recover by the time they are ready to be harvested, and if you try to let them go longer, they will start dying... I have heard of some auto strains that respond ok to it, if you do it really early, like Mazar or some of Stitch's Super Autos.

What I have always done with Autos is tie them down around the rim of the container in a circle. I start when they are still seedlings, as soon as they are tall enough to be bent down and reach the edge of the container. I use coated paperclips. I regularly got well over a dozen thick, foot long colas on each plant.

Similar effect to topping; all those lower branches and larf turn into nice colas. Just my two cents. Hope it all turns out well. Will def be watching your next grow.

Thanks man, yeah someone mentioned something about that some days ago. I've been feeding them just the minimal amount of nutrients since then though

Got some new updates for you guys!

First of all, I managed to get some pollen from my bag seed male and pollinated one of my female's plant stems. For now I can say it's a really strong sativa. Even though it's an autoflower it reacted really well to all the torture it went through. I stripped of all its stems and Ieft only two. You can see the stems in the pics.

My seedling is looking great, I've started giving it some bio grow yesterday and it's loving it.

Let's not forget my Auto Super Hash. She's budding up real nicely.
Though her buds aren't big yet, they're dense as f*uck. Here's a pic of me squeezing really hard on one of her buds, you can't even tell the difference.

I have my tent in a room where guests sleep and there has never been a mention of noise!!! It's not loud at all.

Quick updates for you guys!

First off all, I'll be getting the roleadro 138W LED just to see how LEDs are, if Iike it then I'll be adding the Mars Hydro 300W LED
I'll also be starting a sog grow soon so stay tuned ahaha
My Auto #1 is doing great, she also started getting a lil frosty as you can see in the pics. Her buds aren't quite big yet but she still has almost a month to go.

Seedling is looking healthy as well

Nice I like the foil. I don't see indoor growers use enough of it. Love the strain too or any strains like it they remind me of these little jungle trees you can use to represent trees in Warhammer 40,000 table top game, anyways I digress.

Looking forward to the SCROG grow and also watching these bad girls finish up.

I just noticed that the pollination went well on my indica dominant Auto Super Hash. I pollinated her some days ago with some pollen I got from my bag seed male, which is a sativa dominant strain btw.
I found the first sign of seed production today and so I'll be keeping a close eye on her ahaha

No problem man, we wouldn't be humans if we didn't make mistakes.

The main difference is that with Autos there's a limit to how many times you can top them because topping stresses the plant.. but with photoperiods the sky is the limit as they tend to recover quickly. You also need to consider the plant's lifespan. If the lifespan is too short then you should reconsider not topping her.

I check on them twice a day and I noticed the difference in trichome production just a few days ago. I gotta say it's growth really started exploding towards the end of it's flowering cycle. I can't wait to see how her offsprings will turn out to be.

*A detailed update for you guys*
First of all my Auto Super Hash (Auto #1, Indica dominant, on day 72) is looking good I'd say even though she's a little bit late on her schedule. Her buds aren't quite bad as I thought, she recovered well from all the topping so yeah.
Now for some pics. .

My male sativa I got from some pretty dank bag is producing the right amount of pollen I need. 2-3 pollen sacks open everyday, I keep the pollen I don't need now in a cool dark place so it doesn't gets f*cked up

My seedling is growing well with only one CFL light, I couldn't ask for more. I'll be receiving my 138W Ufo LED grow light today so that's great! I can then veg my seedling with 5-6 CFLs and flower my Auto #1 with the LED grow light.
I always start my Lst very early and allow me to demonstrate what I mean ahaha

I'll keep the updates coming guys so feel free to join the grow.
