How to stop preflower and get back into veg stage?

They look great

Why you worried????

Because I've never seen that before. All my clones showed their pistils when I switched flowering. When I saw these pistils I just freaked out from idea of can't getting new clones cause of flowering.

It's strange and really I don't get it.
You're saying it's OK right? They will not go any further flowering phase?

If not than what should be the light cycle? 20/4 or 18/6?

They may have started to flower or show sex, but I've pulled clones 3 weeks into flower, they did fine after they re vegged

I took these an hour ago.
You are right about testing, you never know...

Yes I freak out because I don't have seeds to start over again. :/

They look good most are simple single calyx indicating sex which you know because they are clones. The one does look a bit like a pre flower but its very deceiving. Ive taken clones recently from fully flowering plants and they are reveging just fine check my journal PoisonSkunk and Steves Clone in the tent you can see the flowers on the clones and they reveg the flowering stops. Your strain is definitely not in jeopardy you grow these out cut clones flower them and carry on indefinitely.
Happy 420!!
:yummy:

Check out my grow journal in my sig (re-veg), you can put them back into veg but from my experiences the ones already there wont disappear. You can rip them off if you want. Or wash the buds at harvest. Or bubble hash it.

It was very informing, thank you for your effort. But Dude..
I got angry while reading it. You just stop posting and all the science gone for almost nothing.
Also I think your harvest compared to normal grow were not good. Your buds were too small in that journal and I want to ask for a comparison with your previous grows? Were they almost same or am I right?

I've decided on "24/0/1week, 20/4/1week, 18/6/rest".
Also I topped 3 plants, I think wounding will push them to veg stage again! We'll see.

I'm guessing that your mother plant is older now than it was then.

As has been mentioned, if you leave a plant on an 18:6 (etc.) light schedule, it'll start producing a few flowers. Call it "making preflowers," or "showing its sex" if you like. It's just producing a few flowers. It means the plant is (sexually) mature. The frequency increases over time, but it's slow enough (the rate of increase, I mean) that it generally doesn't become an issue unless you keep mother plants for years, and then it's more an annoyance than a real problem, although I probably wouldn't keep males and females in the same room for years, lol. If you do - or if one of the plants is a strain that's known for occasionally producing an opposite-sex flower - then you might notice a seed or two once in a while when you're in there cleaning and doing maintenance.

Earlier, I was thinking that your clones were in "full flower production mode," as if you'd already changed your light schedule. Apologies for that misunderstanding. I don't do picture evaluation all that well any more, especially when I'm using a cell phone; it's... It's a PITA having to zoom text just to be able to read; when I do that with a picture, I mostly just end up frustrated.

I don't kept mothers. I'm just taking clones from their big sisters.
The problem is they was on veg stage and like I said It didn't happen before.
They're living creatures so It seems possible to have a deal for going back at veg stage.
I will try my best with 24/0/1week, 20/4/1week, 18/6/rest".

I will also throw out that you are worrying about something that is not happening. You are dealing with an old mother plant and her clones, that are exactly the same age as she is genetically. As soon as the new clones pop out roots, they are mature and ready to flower, and if you put them in a 12/12 light you would end up with very cute 6 inch flowering plants. The few pistils that are being thrown out are evidence of this fact... they are ready to go as soon as you tell them it is ok. The few pistils that you are seeing however does not mean that you are no longer in veg... keep calm and take a deep breath. As long as your new growth tips are coming out green and new leaves keep popping out at the ends of the branches, you are in veg. Pistils do not automatically mean you are in flower.

Yes, you're right but the problem is there were already in 18/6 cycle. It is still a sign of what they going to do, so they were trying to past flowering stage because of bug pesticide.
I saw the hairs and I take precautions about it. I directly changed to 24/0 cycle and topped 3 plant, with all these precautions I didn't give any chance to flower.
1 week later I'm gonna switch 20/4, after another week 16/8 again. I have to keep them alive and at veg stage.

Still I haven't make feminised seeds from them. I should done that immediately!
But I have to do my own silver juice first.

you have nothing to fear... they CAN NOT FLOWER at 18/6. They can preflower all they want, and it is not going to hurt anything... they will not stop vegging and getting bigger until you switch to 12/12. All you are doing with all this changing is confusing the plant, and I sure hope you have this all out of your system before you actually do begin the bloom cycle.

And you start making Fem seeds about 2 weeks prior to flipping to 12/12

So yer fine

Relax, take a hit, set them on 20/4 or 18/6, and move on with life and growing

something very basic is not being understood here @morphin and I am trying to understand. What did you mean when you said, "they were already in 18/6 cycle"? Also this thinking that somehow pesticide was going to change them over to bloom. Who told you such things to confuse you so?

Life did. I never seen hairs in 18/6 cycle. I sprayed pesticide than few days later I saw little hairs. Only change was the pesticide so I blame it.
I might seem to overreact because it's a problem I've never had before and I freaked out.
I decided to do something for change their mind and I switched light cycle to 24/0.

Seeing the pistils is the most common thing in the world, and for you to have never seen them is the strange part. I would never even think of switching to flower until all of my plants have shown me pistils or balls...well before they hit the bloom tent. Sorry it caused you to freak out, but I guarantee you that this is normal and that you are going to see it again and again. I can't think of one case where I was not patient enough to wait for pistils before going to flower, and not seeing them by week 5 or so would concern me... but I have gotten pretty good at figuring out sex before that point.

I started with 4 seeds and it's my 5th grow with their clones.
When I think clones are ready and if bloom room is empty I move them under HPS 12/12 cycle. Few days later I see hairs and flowering starts. And I never have hairs in veg stage before. Also I never switched 12/12 in veg room with MH. We learn everyday.

Depending on how well the strain handles stress, the light (schedule) stress might have served to achieve that for him, had he not topped them ;) .

Yeah, unfortunately I had a bit of an emergency and wasnt able to give them the attention needed. I did continue to take pics though so I think there was only a small gap which shouldnt affect too much. I think it took quite a hit with bud size from the experiment but they werent too bad, actually. I think I got 7 ounces or so dry from those 4 and just turned it into bubble hash. I dont know about pushing them to veg that way, mine didnt seem to want to go to veg the 2nd time at first....I started getting worried for a week or so. Weird experiment.

Good luck with your grow! :yummy:
