How long to show preflowers?

Pollen can hang around a looooong time and be easily blown around on air currents from your fan, etc. If it was only one or two sacks it shouldn't be much of an issue. Water will kill the pollen so spraying down your other plants and inside of your tent will help, but spraying down lights and stuff is not advised.

I had a male plant start to flower in veg but I'm not really all that concerned. Most of my veg plants don't even have preflowers on them. I wiped down the surfaces but I'm not going crazy with it.

I'm all outside but I will spray down plants with the hose just to be safe. It's been 15 days since the male plant was found and put down the garbage disposal.

I had started watching the plants for signs about a week earlier and one day I saw some growths and literally the next day I saw the sacs and one appeared to be open. I have a picture of it on here in another thread, asking if it was a male for sure.
