How are you attaching light hangers in a tent?

that's what I did, seems to be fine. I do want to go get large industrial carabiners

As Growca2268 said - simply wrap the hanger around and connect it to itself. Here's another angle:

I've been hanging some pretty damn heavy lights this way for years. No problems at all.

this is what I did, seems to work fine. I do want to get a couple large industrial carabiners though, it would make it much easier to hook/unhook or move things/do maintenance, and just be a little more trustworthy and aesthetically pleasing haha.
