Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

Take some sativas early and they can be racy.
Part of the reason I was rushing is that my second generation Chemdawg was starting to get so tall in veg I was afraid after stretching in flower I would run out of headroom again. But I gave that thing a haircut of about 6 inches a few days ago and it has sprung back so much I think I'm going to try just trimming branches back a few nodes to keep my height down in veg and see how that works out.

So to make a short story long and tedious I'll let the Amnesia ripen out as long as it wants and I will trim back the Chemdawg and give it a good trim before I flip it. Super cutting just doesn't cut it. I think with the big root it has it should really take off? Who knows but I'm giving her a try.

Don’t trim them just super crop them.
I find with super cropping after a couple of days the branch will curl up and sometimes straighten right up and you're lucky if you gain an inch or two and I am dealing with feet here. I really don't think I have a choice.

I took so many failed cuttings I basically took the first 6 inches off the plant and then I did it again because she was getting tall which is how I started trimming the thing. So I'm kind of already committed. Look at it as an unintentional misguided experiment. We can see how it does compared to its mom.

At five weeks and three days since flip, my Chemdawg is budding up nicely getting good and sticky. Other than being a little tall and manageably structurally unsound I am pretty happy with her at this point. Counting down the days till my silica additive arrives and I can try to address my structural problems.

You can see on the bottom right of the photo where light from my blurb was spilling over. I was too lazy to walk 5 feet and shut it off for the pic.

It looks like it’s pretty normal to me, right where it should be.
I concur.

Here is one more pic of the Chemdawg.

I am leaving my lower leaves on because they are like canaries in a coal mine for early warning of nute issues.

Shouldn’t have any issues to deal with.
Yes, I have dialed in my nutes better by keeping them low but I lost track of my dosage and wasn't sure if I increased by 1 or 0.5 g/gal MC. Best to do my watering unmedicated.

If it’s fairly low you’ll have some fudge factor to help.
Yes, it should be okay but I was kicking myself because once again I wasn't sure if I had to go up or down, LOL.

:ciao: Hi Homer, I finally found my way into your journal, that Chem looks a beauty!
I hope the holiday season has treated you well!!
Hey, DutchinAB.

Nice to have you aboard. Yes, the holiday season treated me well but like every year, glad it's over for another year. Hope you have a nice holiday season too.
