So a while ago i started building my version of hydroponics from all the scraps around my house im a electromechanical tech with a medical card grow what should i do lol.
I believe the plants love it ive got one thats 4 feet across let me know how i did
So heres the skinny,
There are 2 sluces that run 9ft long and 15 inches wide with 40 gal of solution water in each.
There is a reservoir 30 gal at the end of the sluces which allows both to drain waterfall style into the reservoir which is then recirculating back to the sluce runs at about 40 psi causing high pressure water to return throughout the sluces causing cavitation and mixing of solution and air introduction there is NO air pump and recirculation is on a timer 25 min every 2 hrs
Right now 8 plants are tied into a automatic watersystem my design that is timed to come on with the recirculating pump at 11min every 2 hrs
And all that is tied into a a setup i came up with to keep my reservoir toped off with cln well water it checks the tank every 5 hours for water level that being said the room is 15x8 ft
The room is also moving 1000 cuft a min from a 1.5 ft intake fan and vent and a 30in exhaust fan providing tons of fresh air into the room and keeps the room cooler and at a negative pressure state
There is also a 40000 btu ac because there have been days when the room reaches 120 degrees because of lighting ventilation is also digitally timed and temp sensitive of the plants at sluce level
Heres the parts list just about everything came from craigslist , home depot , and nutes from amazon.
6 quantum 600w led
1 home depot full spec 100w
1/3 hp symp pump
Hunter lawn sprinkler solinoid on timer with float switch
Assorted pvc and valves
Bunch of mech timers
home depot drip edge garden supplies with electronic water timer and adjustable heads
some 6mil plastic
bunch of pressure treated wood scraps
Cookie cooling racks
fabric pots
home made coco perlite mix right around 60/40
30 in commercial fan and 1.5 ft attic fan home depot
and a little luck
Total cost of grow room build less than a
grand. Including light's which i havent turned off in 9 mths all tied into a solar bank i put on the roof i i dont pay for power that never goes off what could be better lmfao.
LET ME KNOW HOW I DID THANKS.
