High EC runoff, leaf burn

When cleaning out a coco bag, use pure water set at exactly 5.8.
No calmag or anything in flushing liquid.
I constantly check runoff in coco. If it starts to rise I give some ph water.
Keeps bag clean.
I find if she isn't eating everything you feed her it can build up in the pot.
Too much ppm and salts are easily cleaned from coco making it a great forgiving medium.
If you find a steady buildup reduce your feed ppm and see how that helps.

Thanks for your time and suggestions Bill, they are very much appreciated. How many times do u feed them per day?

Soon i m gonna move them to the autopots but till then i ll try to go 2-3 times per day, right now i do water/feed them only once but they started to drink it faster as they getting older(almost 4 weeks now)and they are in 4L pots.

depending on your nutes you might want to do a f/f/w or f/f/f/w sched. the water side does exactly what bill says, keeps the roots clear and salt build up minimal. some nute choices are ok to run f/f/f, but they are few.

don't live by run off numbers. tears lay that way for most folk. it's the inputs that matter. concentrate on keeping that in balance and you'll be fine. it's ok to monitor run off as you go, but it will never tell the story unless in dwc.

learn a read on your plants to understand what they are telling you. it may take a while as it's experience, but worth it to grow that way. once you know how to read the plants, changing nutes, media etc, becomes a lot easier.

the guys have you headed the right way,
Good to know bluter, thanks for the info.
I get what you mean by reading the plants and understanding them and their life cycle and i guess thats what comes with experience but i find it necessary for now to go with the numbers cause i m not that experienced yet and a bit of a perfectionist,so i like my science. As for the Silicon, its the one from VitaLink company and the description is something like this : "Silicon is highly beneficial to plant health, strengthening cell walls to produce stronger and bigger plants, thicker roots and an increased resistance to diseases and stress. It boosts CO2 absorption, chlorophyll production and photosynthesis, resulting in bigger yields and heavier fruits."
Thats the reason i am using it,i dunno if we talking about the same thing but it was suggested to me by some more
experienced guys around,do u think its that bad?

oops just re read that bit ..

plants are neither perfection driven nor grow by science. weed responds to mild adversity mostly. but the basics has to be there. numbers that work for one will blow another up. it's about finding the happy. every strain / pheno / plant has one. they are individuals.

not a finger wag or anything. every grower eventually learns that.

If you can give them a feed a couple times a day that is better than dumping it in all at once. As they get bigger in flower I increase the amount as they are consuming more.

I'm sure we've all tasted some 'orrible gakky tasting weed from too-much-chem grows, no?
The flushing debate depends on 'how much of what' you've grown with on a f/f/f/f/f/f/f cycle
Si is just another additive and I don't see the need for it
I'll read up on the links you suggest
Cheers

My babies are looking better the last couple of days,i managed with the runoff EC and feeding twice per day,its just a pain in the ass to hand water 13 plants :D
It wont be that long though,i will transplant them in the final pots(autopots) in 7-10 days.

Last night i discovered some invaders under the leafs. We played hide and seek for like half an hour(this might feel like a god whose watching us with his microscope lol) but finally i managed to take some pictures.
Here they are..Two buddies getting high and chilling under the leafs..
I m not sure but they might eating them cause i saw some weird spot discoloration and tiny holes here and there.

Do u have any clue what those could be ?They are almost transparent and have red eyes.

Thanks you all again for your time and suggestions,i will update in my grow journal from now on,i would be more than happy to see you there.

I will do research right away,is it a major problem those little ones ?
Not at the moment but they will multiply rapidly and eventually destroy your crop
