So,friends,Just bought "Hypoaspis miles" they kill gnats & trips.I hope they arrive soon.
actually they do not KILL THRIPS.

Take a read.......Hypoaspis miles are a light brown/tan species of soil-dwelling, predatory mite, less than 1 mm. in size used predominantly in organic gardening. Although touted as a Sciarid fly control, they are actually voracious predators, inhabiting the top few centimetres of soil and feeding on any small bugs, insects and mites, including all stages of springtails and even nematodes. They are adept hunters, fast-moving over substrate surfaces, able to climb over various obstacles and consume perhaps 5 prey items per day. It appears they will tackle anything of similar size to themselves and possibly even a little larger. They are also scavengers and can feed on soil debris and vegetable matter in the absence of suitable prey.

Ah Buenos Dias y Aloha. Thanks for the pics again. I do not notice this time the schizel you were going thru " thrips". They look healthy wealthy and wise from here.
When are they going into a flowering stage? some people would be smiling having plants like that.

Also,I will use a method to make clones that a friend showed me.Its without cutting the branch, you just cut the leaves from the internodes and cut a bit of the skin, then you put the cloning gel and rockwool around it and finally tin foil to keep it dark at that spot. Then you wait till it makes roots and cut off the branch and ready to plant.Sounds like a good way to do it,for me,and it works,he showed me.

**Edit**

Any,very inexpensive trick to get rid of the smell?
I like the smell...but many people come to my house to visit me and the smell is everywhere, yesterday a friend of mine came to say hello..he entered the living room and said "Ohh man, nice smell, welcome to the jungle.." xD
Its ok if he knows it,but maybe other people call the cops or something.. :/
Imagine when theyre flowering,haha

Hello my friends,

Today I "took" 4 clones of 2 of my biggest plants.2 clones from each plant.
I used the method from my friend, lets hope they root.
My equipment:
-Tin foil.
-Razor blade.
-Cloning gel.
-Damp Rockwool.
-Little thingies to adjust the rockwool to the branch.
-Brush.

Thanks for all the comments, wish you guys a nice day.

It's a type of,
"LAYERING

Layering causes roots to develop on shoots that are still attached to the parent plant. The stem is not cut from the main plant until it has rooted. Use this method when other propagation methods are unsuccessful. Layering is a good propagation choice when only a few plants are needed.

Simple layering is done by bending a branch to the ground and burying a portion of it. The tip remains uncovered. A light soil increases rooting success, as will wounding or girdling the buried section. Treatment with rooting hormone is helpful.

Hold the branch in place with a rock or peg. Layering is done in early spring while plants are still dormant or in late summer on wood that has not become woody. Plants with flexible branches are particularly suited to this method.

Other types of layering include serpentine or compound layering, continuous or trench layering, and mound or stool layering."

But different :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hai.

Just woke up and checked the clones, they all look like this one:

This doesnt happen with the ones of my friend and I did all right.Does someone know whats happening?Only the clones look like this..But its pretty strange for me because, theyre supposed to get food from her mummy.

*Edit*

Just called my friend, seems that it is normal.I really hope so.

Hey Damagoman, youre right, its called Air layering.

Looking real nice, and seeing the air layer version done with success is enticing. A long time friend / Mountain man Grower uses this in the Jungles above us.
2 more weeks before we see little pistals. We will be patient.

Thanks Cherma, its good to have you around.Patience is one of the most important things for growing cannabis.

I think I will use Bio Bloom together with TopMax,for flowering.I still need to buy em,so if you guys know something better (only bio please) please tell me :)

Many thanks.

By the way,another question:

Will the plants increase in size during flowering?
I mean, some people say they double in size,do all plants do that?
If not I may let em grow a bit more.

Andy esta correcto, como siempre, y tus plantas son muy saludables. Que tengas un buena día.
