Hey Stage: Where Ya Been? Fall 2017 DBHBB Perpetual

Your 5 gallon pots look like they are tall and skinny. Most pots I get around here are on the shorter and squater side. Your veg girls look super healthy though. Do you always take clones without cutting the leaves? Whenever I tried to take clones and I do not cut my leaves in half I always had issues with getting them to root. If it works for you that is awesome, it just always gave me problems.

My ladies thank you for the compliment.
The pots...yes.
I picked these up from a new grow store near me.
I noticed the same thing about the size height.
They were two bucks a piece. They only had ten left that looked like these.

About the clones. I have cut the leafs and not cut the leafs and I have gotten roots from both.

The breeder (Inhouse) says 8-9 weeks.
I have taken them to 58 in the last run.

I can see where I have gotten better at this.
I can also see that I have room for improvement.

The journey is what I'm embracing.

Damn! Those are some pretty buds Stage. :thedoubletake: Have fun with the fiskars. I lost my pair somewhere. Drat! I keep forgetting to buy another pair and now it has to wait. :laughtwo: To be honest, I do most of my harvest barehanded. When the branches are wet the oil doesn't stick to you as aggressively. I've gotten to be pretty good at getting most of the leaves off without clippers.

Sure do miss them though. How does one lose clippers in a tiny apartment?

Damn..you just forked up the groove with that last bit of reality.:)
So here is the plan. I saw a device on the tube. Look up trimbag. ;)

Its a canvas bag that you put up to 2 lbs of dried untrimmed buds into it.
Inside there are two compartments.
One has the trimmed leafs and the other has the trimmed buds.

You use a 'shaking motion' for less than two minutes. The fact that I could shake it with vigor or gently was a plus.
The end product was remarkably well trimmed and the shake is separated for you.
It's not inexpensive.

But perhaps a new tool? Or an investment in freedom from an extended sentence in Trim Jail.
I will be the guinea pig so to speak and post my thoughts on it. I place the order tonight.:slide:

The Dealer posted a pic in his journal of snips that are coated with a non stick coating.
I went to the Zon and picked me up a pair.
They work way better than the usual fiskars.
