I wouldn't be concerned about the number of fingers on the leafs so long as the plant looks healthy. I've had plants with 11 and 13 finger leafs. Never found and hard evidence that's states the number of fingers mean anything significant. Some say the more fingers the healthier the plant. Others say a mutation. I say its the flower that matters, not number of fingers on the leaf.ok, so I are confuzzled.
my #1 has started showing me both 4 and 6 fingered fan leaves, and in all cases, the extra leaves appear to be normal shaped but much smaller than all the other leaves on the fan. A brief google search really didn't find much info on the subject of even numbers of fingers, anyone experienced this and want to chime in?
