I used the old Indian tactic in gardening i buried red tail suckers from when I went fishing and compost from the farmer down the road and watered it every day with the sprinkler

yrs ago we used to plant above fish guts on guerilla grows. you had to watch for bears and they'd dig the plants up to get at them sometimes.

Im glad we didn't have that problem The worst i had it was deer, rabbits and shrews digging mine up or de foiling them

I don't usually bury them up to their necks in soil if i don't have to.
The only time i will is if they seem to be getting to top heavy for the girth of stem i see these here seem to be pretty strong

The mixed spectrum and the supplemental uvr light helps with the stem elongation imo

Thank you but lol i gotta say looking cool and working cool is 2 different things lol but i do know that set up is productive. Pretty good considering the soil in there 4 years old and i don't use any chemicals all organics

A little worm castings sprinkled along the side of the seed cell try to get the stalks a greener and thicker no need to prop up pod is pretty dry which is ok gor dampening off because tap root is grabbing the water from below

I use drip and gro for clones and the rapid rooter w/ mycorrhizae and for seeds i use rapid rooter along with lactic acid or activated em In my spray bottle i don't soak the seeds in peroxide or anything and usually i get 100% germination rate or roots for clones within 5/7 days
i just keep the rapid rooter just damp you can see the difference in Color not soppin wet
I get everything ready the day before heat matt with a temp control , seed germinator and rapid rooter all set up the day before as if there were seed's or clones in there so it gets to temp and so on whatever And you do DON'T OVER WATER! Just damp always a spray bottle on the babies never a open pour

Doing a test after cleaning ,before up planting pretty much ready to go ill get my soil testing done next week. have a 630 LEC dimmable Sun system well 2 but i start off with one when they are small i have the lamp on a mover only moves about a foot 6" each way I have that on as timer so it shuts off with lights off
