Help

Good. It takes time. I have grown for years and still question new strains sometimes. Do worry about lots of questions. Someone here should have a answer to most of them. Better to ask then act like you know then end up being disappointed.

You are really close and should be real happy soon. It makes up for all the waited when it is dried and cured.

Just so you know. Cure time after a plant is dried varies. For a new grower cure times average around 30 seconds.

Not a problem ask away. It is always better to ask then to act. So few plants get taken to late you have little to worry about. I am sure you will cave before you lose any THC. LMAO. Smells and flavors become more complex as the plant finishes. Just one more reason to wait.

When you get a chance post a picture of the lowest buds.

Kind of blurry but I saw what I wanted to see. They look close. When the hairs on lower branches have turned red the plant is in finishing mode. I just wanted to make sure there were no white hairs coming out of the top of them.

As I mentioned this is not a tell all thing. Some strains do a lot after they are all red. I don't think you will be hurt from here on in if you decide to harvest. Trichome color is the key now. In most cases you should be at least 3/4 cloudy at this point. If there are only 1/2 cloudy then you have a strain with longer finishing time.

You are at the day to day point now.

You should actually be seeing some amber trichomes before you think about harvesting. Many strains go mostly cloudy several weeks before harvest. 2-5% amber is when a lot of people like to pull them... because they continue to mature a bit all the way through drying. If you pull too much earlier than that, you don't get the full high that the plant is capable of giving you, and its lighter and more cerebral, and doesn't last as long. I prefer 5-10% amber myself... that gets me right to where I want to be.
