I have an extra five gallon bucket for every one with a plant. Pull the water a day or two before I need it. City water...that gets run through a salt pellet water softener. Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect and change the reservoirs once a week, or when a plant has drank 16qts(the amount in a fresh reservoir). During the week I add back plain pH adjusted(5.8 - 6.0) tap water, no nutrients.
