Help needed

HEHE! okay, sorry.. here's some help with that.
Each arrow points to to where preflowers will show on each node. I use this picture from another subject, but it works for this purpose, too. Each grouping of 2 lines and an arrow points out a node. Basically it is where there is a bump in the main trunk, and from there lateral (side) growth will sprout.

The easy way to pick this out is at each node the first thing you will see is a pair of fan leaves growing opposite each other on the main trunk. Later, where the lines are there will be lateral stems grow from between the fan leaf and main trunk. Later than that, preflowers will grow, at the arrows, and that is what we look for when determining sex of a plant.

All of this starts from a node.

ok so when the plant gets to 8 or 9 bits where the arrows are that is when i cut where the white lines are? and that will make more flower or more bushyer for more flower?. sorry if i sound abit thick but i dont want to kill the plant for doing something wrong.
thanks

Cut at red line for topping, leaving everything else on the node, just taking the main stalk above.
The previous picture was from other help I gave about cloning... I though it would help explain a node as well.

There is another technique that will get you 4 main stalks going up rather than 2 as with the above "Topping" technique
What is the FIM technique?

Some growers are now using the "FIM technique" as a way to get more growing shoots per each time you top. The strategy involves cutting off 90% of the growing shoot and leaving 10% intact. From that 10%, up to 8 more branches can emerge. This is useful for those growing SCROG style or those wanting lots of clones from a mother plant.

A shows the tradional method of topping: cutting the whole node off cleanly, to induce the stalk to split into two. But diagram B indicates to make the cut below the center of the node, leaving about 10% intact. This is the key, because the vegetation left behind has cells that are rapidly dividing in many different directions. This can lead to as many as EIGHT tops from a single pruning.

Hi

i dont no what wally world is as i am in the uk. i guess 23 water works are the make of lights???? and 5000 kalvin range is that bulb size??

thanks
