So much reading led me to believe not to transplant AUTO's. I will next time for sure. Or just learn a good technique to Water seedlings in 5 gallon pot without transplanting --> Anyone?
Well Auto, I'm gonna tag along here from time to time, cuz I'm growing my first auto, a Wedding Cake :slide: and honestly I just started it like a photo, in a solo cup :hmmmm: and I've only got a 3 gallon pot to transplant it into :goodluck::snowboating:
Here's my auto @ 3 days from breaking surface

She looks great.

I will be posting many pics for my first grow. Keeping my fingers crossed with the Low Stress Training it seems to be working. I started the LST at the 4th node I read the younger the better to start training:hmmmm:. I give thanks to all members of the 420 Forum for all the knowledge to get started. I read about 6 months before jumping in. Im starting to realize patience not to over water and minimal Nutes will go a long way.

FYI - Im using Jacks 30-10-10, 1/16 to 1/8 dose only a lil CAL-MAG about the same dose. For flower I will be using Jacks 10-30-20 also a reduced dose.

Thats what I should of done. So many opinions out there whether to start Auto flowers and transplant or place them in their final home from the start. <--which I did, both placed in a 5 Gallon Smart Pot.

Well I've never grown an auto, but, I imagine they're like any other plant, their roots have to fill the pot they're in before the top shows growth...that's why I started in a solo cup, well, cuz that's what I always do  I guess we'll take this trip and learn together :high-five:

Another look at the growth over 5 days with LST training.

August 18. Watered with black strap Molasses un sulfured.

August 22. Day 46 Buds are stinking on the Blueberry Cookies much more mature than the Alaskan Purple which is only 2 days behind at germination. Seems to be about a week or more behind in total. Need another in-line fan and carbon filter to start drying the Blueberry Cookies when ready. Watered with black strap molasses and Epson salt 1/4 teaspoon per gallon watered approx 2-3 gallons. Did not change ph when tested it was 6.6-6.7. My soil PH when taking two slurrys as follows:

Blueberry Cookies PH slurry test
  1. 6.1
  2. 6.0-6.1
Alaskan Purple PH slurry test
  1. 5.7
  2. 6.0
  3. Didn’t do a third. Then watered as outlined.
Next water will be PH’ed 6.3 water 20-30 percent run off with 1/2 the molasses and skipping the epson salt.
