Hi, I am I'd say the newest member here, just joined. (Thanks Pigeons420 @ Youtube for directing moi here). I go by the alias of Mounty, due to my herritage, not where I now live, whatever...
Anyway, I too am new to the indoor grow scene, well getting there. have equipment ordered, plans made for a closet/cupboard grow. So I am here on a recon mission: To learn from the vets here, try to ask useful/intelligent questions and so-on/-forth. Perhaps even make some new friends/buds.... This internet stuff is amazing, no?? I remember, back in the day..... Ah, but that's another story, right here on the riverbed.....
Cheers peeps, ciao 4 now

Hi and welcome :welcome: give pigeons my best regards. I MISS HIM A LOT.
I have a few good links in my signature for you if you need help.

Goods have arrived. i just unpacked the "Bulk" of things, did an inventory count. There were even a few goodies from my new supplier, La Mota in San Sebastian/Spain. (Am i breaking any guidelines using their name??)
How do I store seeds best?? I have way too many (due to a 'deal/bargon' @ growshop....) and only plan on using maybe 8, propagate 12-15, and choose the bestest ones. On to the pix...
First pix are the care package I received fromm Spain.
Last pix are of where I hope to put all this schtuff, and a hand rendering of my plans.
Hope i can load them all...

Well you are not messing around, are you mister? :high-five:

You have a lot of passion going already. Do yourself a favor and share it with the neighborhood in a grow journal. Good grief, you have a lot of choices, and that cabinet you're building will make some of the members cry with appreciation. A truly stealthy setup. Respect :bravo:

Me? I like things out in the open, but then I'm an outlier in many ways. :battingeyelashes:

Any friend of Pigeons.......:hug::hug::hug:

hiya mounty :welcome:

seems you discovered the addition of equipment addiction a lot of us catch lol

that is one pile of decent schwag you got there :bravo:

Again thanks. Yes, i threw a pretty penny at this. I wish to go fully automated. drip to waste, perpetual garden. Sooo much work for preperation. Insulation, measuring temps and humidity in an empty state, w/o equipment, sound/sight proofing. Pix of styrofoam install on rear of cupboard. It is against 2 outside walls, thought a barrier needed. Isolation from outside because little room inside.

Tried sending the pix from my cellfon, didn't work, so here, from home: Installation of styrofoam on back and one side of closet. Any larger cracks or voids i filled with small pieces, then covered with black electrical tape. I did not cover top to bottom as that the bottom will be where the water reservoir is, no need to keep it tempered. (Heatstick will be in the water).
@ TurboMad: Thanks, I will. Lots of holes to be drilled, silicon the corners, install reflective foil etc and so-on. In my minds eye it is already up and running.. reality looks way different......
@ SweetSue: No ma'am, I are not. The way i figure: If you use good equipment, the outcome 'should' be good. I do not 'know' Pigeons, just from seeing him on youtube. Seems like the kind of person i could acquaint with quite easily.
@ Bluter: Many thanks, amigo. I shopped/recon'd long and hard, comparing prices. The place I bought from had almost my complete order there, on stock. They were/are not the cheapest place (price not quality) I had seen, but the customer service is TOP notch, so I went with them. And too, them being in Spain, I know my address is relatively safe. Cool being here in Europe. Free trade is the Shit!!! Not a dime spent on customs.

Ok, so the lights have been hung, for testing. CLW's SS 550 on 'standard/uncontrolled' mode (full power), the temp reached, with door closed, unsealed, a max of 41°C. with door open, 24°Cish, simulating air in as I will be using room air as air in (higher co2 level and prewarmed/tempered. Humidity is low... 25% approx. ok, ok, no water/plants in there yet...
more ducting arrived; do i use the 2 large fans for suction/underpressure, and the 2 small fans for air in, or 1 fan ea for in/out?
Also, as seen on the pics, i need to raise the lamps, meaning cutting out a part of the upper shelf. 1) do i cut out just enough so the lamp fits snuggly into the shelf, or leave a nice say 1 inch/2,5cm gap around it? 2) can I make a box above this /cutout to place the propagator upon, using the lamps fan heat to warm the propagator from below. holes will be drilled into this encasement box, to allow for heat dissipation/air movement above the lamp.
oh, more ducting arrived, and added bonus: They are remodeling/renewing our change room/sweatbox at work. I saw that there was/were air ducting that was connected to the fluorescent light fixtures, one was still connected to the fixture. so i says to the workers i says: is that garbage? they nodded. I asked if they were to drive it out back to the park garage, i would buy them a round o java... it worked. the fixture is in my garage, needs cleaning, but 2 extra ducts i have, take a look.
Drill/hole saw 100mm dia arrived too....
