Chunky looking colas! Theyll be fine on top of the leds! Done it a few times and same bud when dryied in total darknes.. offcourse the cure.. :thumb: :hookah:
Yeah, bro. I use to dry like this back in the day. I didnt notice a difference and it keeps the humidity a little lower..its 40% humidity and 77 degrees..
Thanks for the idea @Sätkis :high-five:

Hey Sparkey i like the idea of hang drying them in your tent where its an already stable environment. I was thinking of doing that myself since i really didnt knw where i should hang them at :p
Im sure having a dark environment is better. I just dont have many options drying her. I cant keep the tent open too long before my wife yells downstairs. "Sparkey, close the tent back up" :high-five:
So, smell is a big deal around this town:laugh: good to see you bro

My wife has been on the war path over the smell the last couple days, It has been really smelly because of the harvest and trying to dry. I had it all over me last night after trimming the buds off the stems and baging it up in Turkey bags to cure and or dray a little more. I was able to bring up the RH by putting a couple bags of what I am doing the Low and Slow thing on. The were much moister then what has been hanging so after putting them in the Turkey bags it brought the RH back up

@PCaddict . You chop the buds off wet and the put them in Tudkey bags? Or let it dry and put in turkey bags?
Im not sure on how that works. Never done it before. In my experience hanging the plant upside down and after it dries/cure seems to be alot better smoke then cutting up wet buds.

Hey @PCaddict . Sorry, reading back i sounded like a dick head. :high-five:my bad man.
Its too much work trimming wet bud. I do take off any big/ medium size leaves. Dry for 5/7 days depending on humidity.
Im interested in the refrigerator method.
Good to see you PC, :high-five:

It was hanging for 4 days but I was only checking the stuff from one plant and they were down to 40% RH when I bagged it up so I trimmed all of it and put it in bags, The other Fatter buds were still moist when I put it in the Turkey bags so when I checked it was 71% so I opened the bag to let it dry for a bit. I will check the RH is still high I will put it on a screen to dry a little more before I start curing it in the Turkey bags.

I should explain what the Turkey bags do. They are used for curing. Much easier the jarring it all up. They also give a little more control because you can open the bag and let more or less ambient air in to control it . I messed up yesterday because I was nervous about the stuff I first checked because it was too dry and the sugars were crispy so I cut all the stems off before putting in the bags and the stuff from the other plants was still not really dry enough to start curing. I was just thinking I needed to get it all in bags and wasn't paying attention to how dry the others plants were. I got tunnel vision and messed up. Now I have the bags of the wetter stuff open to dry a little more before I tie the bags shut .

I got the idea from @Derbybud He has been a BIG help. I am Very lucky that he lives close and has helped me out A LOT. This site is So Great. People are willing to help when possible. More like close friends or family. You have helped too and I appreciate it. @Fastass419 hooked me up with a vape and it has helped as well. @ilikemsticky hooked me up too. I owe all of you a BIG Thanks

@PCaddict .
Can you put the Turkey bags in the refrigerator? Is that what you are referring too?
