Outdoor Update

Individual shots of the trailer queens. Everything that has a cage is Blue Dream. The Dark Devil is obvious, the rest are Fruit Punch.

Interesting fact. The DD (and the one in my tent) are the first plants in a long time that I have not topped, bent or in any way intentionally mutilated.

Having a heck of a time keeping the BD green. IDK if it's the strain, this pheno, or me. But I feel I've given them enough N to turn most plants black, and they just don't seem to care. Blood meal, crab meal, shrimp meal, Alaska fish....Advanced Nutrients too. I've managed to slow the yellowing on the smaller 4 BD's on the trailer, but we'll see if it adds leaf matter or other effects in the end. I've fought this pheno now 4 times in flower (counting all current as the fourth). What do you all think? Plant/pot size and roots? It's just that way? Am I too timid with feeding?

The first two BD are in their 3rd week of flower, as is the DD I believe. The FP and last four BD are in week 2. Standing next to the big BD, you can't help but feel like they are body builders standing there flexing and showing off. Arms raised in bicep showing arm curls, lol.

Blue Dream in the ground. Nothing worthwhile to note. She's just plugging along and filling out. She's in week 2.

The bagseed X white widow/blueberry. 7+ feet and stretching. I estimate that with out bending her over she would have reached 10' easily, topped. Not topped...????....maybe 12-15 foot. About 6x7 foot around She's a beast. I hope her flowers are worthy.

And the one most of you have been waiting for.....Tangerine Dream. Easily 6 foot tall now and fills the planter area. Smells strongly of skunk with a distinct citrus note undertone. No flowers yet but she's getting ready to burst. I'm really looking forward to this one. Her clones in my hempys are growing phenomenally fast and I just flipped one to flower.

Great update, Brother! +REPS!!! :bravo:

On those BD's, the pots appear to be big enough, but I'm guessing you're correct and she must have it filled with roots and be sucking up the N as fast as you can feed it to her. From your description, adding more N seems to help, it just doesn't help for long, correct?

If so, I'm not sure what else it could be unless, by some STRANGE chance, the form of N your using (which sounds like ALL forms! :) ) are leaching out of the pot every time it rains or get watered.

Maybe some compost tea to increase microbial activity to help with N intake?

Stunning garden Heirloom!:jawdropper::yummy:

Those are some massive bushes Heirloom. There's no way I could hide those on my deck or utility trailer! (actually yesterday I moved all of my plants from my trailer to my deck. I wasn't giving those enough attention)

I've got some yellowish leaves like you do on your BD. I thought I over-fed them so I flushed - didn't matter, so I fed them hard - didn't matter. Maybe they're just showing some individual personality???

Have a great day!

It takes a big dog to weigh a ton

Yeah, it never lasts long, on any of the BD that have flowered out. I fed 2tbsp/gal 5-1-1 all week last week, every day with every watering, on top of the dry stuff. Alternate a chem feeding once per week too. Seems like a crazy amount, but I'm gonna keep at it until later in flowering. I'm sure the pots are full of roots. I've given them Piranha, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice and can see them crawling all over. Thump the pots and they have a different sound and feel when full of roots.

I'll bubble up some compost tea for the microbes (good idea), and keep feeding. I'm gonna have to get more N if they keep it up. I'm getting low on Alaska and EJ Grow and thinking about peeing on them, lol.

Thanks Mr Krip! Good luck to you (and of course all nominees) on your race this month.

Reminder folks, voting is now open for the 420 Contests!

Are they in flower right now? If so how far in and how long until projected finish? When you say fed them hard, exactly what and how much?

Good morning Heirloom :)

I don't get on often anymore but wanted to pop in and wish you well my friend :)

Hey you , Robert...you from NS my brotha!! Lived there lots growing up as a boy (still growing up now , and I'm 57). We lived in Halifax , Dartmouth, Bedford Basin, and my fav. place in the whole world (back then) was Cornwallis...in the Annapolis Valley. My dad was in the RCN back then . The absolute best place for a 8-10 yr. old boy to grow up (back then)! A pc. of me will always be there ...it was the best time of my life ....without a doubt. Seeing your info by your avatar made me think of it ....I just loved it there...that was back in the 60's. Cheers to ya Robert! :circle-of-love::Namaste::high-five:
