Heirloom's A Little Bit Of Everything - 2016 Journal

Hi D, it's a very wet Tuesday. Imagine it'll head your way, but it's a train right over me right now. Had 1 5/8" since last night. A short pause and now it's just a steady rain again. Had several lightning strikes around me. Expected to smell bacon after one of them! :smokin::rofl:

I made my soil drought ready and got tropical rain. Great.

It's been here since night before last... Actually had to dump my rain barrels cause they were full and all my jugs were full but my outside girls are loving life and my melons are actually looking like they are going to made it now... That is if I can keep the damn coons out of there. They've got two already so yesterday I put up a cattle fence around them.... No casualties this morning...:high-five:....:circle-of-love:

LOL here that would mean the coons just went back for some tools. Keep an eye out,, they're on their way back with bolt cutters and a sawzall.

Isn't that always the way? Ah the irony. :laughtwo: Your drought-resistant soil will likely come in handy towards the end of the month.

How was the day mate? Rains alright now, good. Girls would be loving it... Have you got any plans for two months time and constant rain or your climate doesn't rain then? Do you get winter and snow? :passitleft:

We have material to build individual mini houses/cover if it gets too crazy. The girls on the trailer can go in the shop or under a port. Rain now is fine, in 6-8 weeks it's an issue. It gets crisp early Nov. We get low temps typically late Nov-early Dec. Snow and real freezing happens late Dec, Jan and Feb.

Sounds as bad, actually a little worse than here... Healthy plants help avoid rot and mould issues.. I can get sucked into trying to finish them quicker, avoid this train of thought, that's how they get issues.... :passitleft: nighty night, I don't understand the rest, don't let the bed bugs bite? Who's got bugs in their bed? Clean that up :rofl:

Dang, Heirloom, your crowd has me on the floor belly laughing....nothing wrong with that...:thumb:

It's a great bunch of people I'm blessed to have pass through here. Certainly gets entertaining!

Ya, Grizz, I always thought the same thing. I guess recently there's been an epidemic of bed bugs. Reason #10,245 why I hate leaving my property. Could also be lumped into reason #3...other peoples nastiness.

:Namaste:

:passitleft: brought this over, it's blown my head off  have a good day today bro

Anyone use Bitcoin??
Was reading up on bitcoins and with the exchange rate is not worth shopping with it.
Not to me anyway. I was looking for ways to pay for online shopping at seed banks .. BIG problem for me
